“Why aren't you wearing your bracelet?” I asked him while he was driving. I pouted. I bought that for us.

“I forgot,” he told me. Did he forget, or is he just lying? Maybe he doesn't want to wear it.

“I wear mine, but you forgot yours? I just told you yesterday that you should always wear it,” I said, frowning and looking out the window.
