Samantha's POV

I didn’t go to school for a week because of what happened. I insisted on going back because I missed our quizzes. I still have a lot of activities that I need to catch up on.

“Are you sure? I can still talk to your professors,” Diego said while handing me my bag.

“I’m sure. I’ll just call you when I’m heading home,” I told him. He nodded and kissed me. “I love you. I’ll call you later,” I added.

“I love you too. Call me, okay?” he said. I smiled and waved as he drove away.

As I walked through the hallway, I could feel some of the students staring at me. Some were murmuring.

I took a deep breath and continued walking. I never wanted to catch their attention. In fact, I’d rather stay unnoticed. But ever since Tiffany and I fought, it seems like everyone here is just waiting for the next drama they can watch.
