Samantha's POV

I woke up early in the morning. I actually planned to make sure he was still asleep.

My eyes were puffy from crying last night. I don't want to do this. I still want to see him and talk to him, but I know it's not right.

I won’t be able to move on if he’s still around. Why am I always unlucky when it comes to love? I just got cheated on, and now I’ve fallen for someone I can’t have.

It’s really funny how destiny played me. We met, but we’re not meant to be.

Maybe Andrew and Diego were just lessons to show me that Mr. Right doesn’t exist.

I sighed before silently gathering all my things while he was asleep. It’s only three in the morning. I had already planned this the other day. It’s hard, but I have to do it.

I grabbed the paper from my bag. I wiped my tears while placing it on the table.

It’s the divorce paper. I can’t just let him stay married to me, and I won’t let him finish those six months—it would be torture for me.
