51. Jared's Anger

Jared came home a little late. He only arrived home when it was nine o'clock in the evening. He had been unsettled throughout the day's work, and even more so from the afternoon until the evening. He felt very restless, his mind always on Caroline. He felt anxious all the time. Plus, Caroline wasn't taking his calls after he dialed repeatedly.

The first thing Jared did when he got home was look for the woman he loved so much. As tired as he was when he got home, all that tiredness would soon disappear when he saw Caroline. The energy that had been depleted was replenished when he got a smile from Caroline.

"Where's Caroline?" Jared asked after he took off his suit and tie that had been straining his neck all day.

"Sir, Mrs. Caroline isn't home yet." One of the waiters informed.

"Where did she go?" Jared was a little disappointed that Caroline didn't welcome him home from work this time.

"She told you to look for her if she wasn't home by seven, sir."
