104. Delia's plan

"How many days will you be gone?" Caroline asked her husband.

Due to a meeting with a business client out of town, Jared had to leave Caroline at home with Delia. Because of the many reporters who always follow, Jared asked Delia to accompany Caroline everywhere.

"It's not long, honey, just three days. I'll leave now so I can come back quickly. You'll be fine, right?" Jared hugged and kissed his wife before leaving the house.

"I'll take care of myself. You have to take care of yourself too. Can you promise?"

Jared chuckled and ruffled his wife's blonde hair, promising that he would be fine during the trip. The long distance had Caroline worried.

"Mr. Jared, our flight is in an hour," Donny said.

"Donny, please take care of my wife while I'm gone. I can count on you, right?" asked Jared.

"Of course, sir." Donny bowed as a sign of respect.

"I'll be leaving with Thalius. So, stay here and handle all my work while I'm gone," Jared pleaded.
