"You're playing with fire, Camari," Otis remarked. We walked to the tent for cocktails. "Bella could do terrible things to you because of what you did today."

"She invited me. Don't forget that. She should have known I wouldn't come and give her and Farrell happiness. Of course, I'm going to make a scene," I said casually.

Bella proudly put the wedding ring on Farrell's finger. I wasn't to be outdone. I wore the necklace she wanted specifically to remind her of her defeat at the auction.

She was holding the hand of the man I once had, the man she forcibly took away from me. Instead, I had this necklace by winning a fair fight. Her wedding day was the perfect time to wear a thirty-million-dollar necklace.

"Stop provoking him, Camari." Otis chuckled, so I looked away from Bella. "So, Farrell likes the color blue. That's why you wear that color every day. I thought it was your favorite color."

"I like gold, like the color of my hair." I took two glasses of wine from the tray the
