I knew there was something wrong, so Father kept secret and even deleted all the results of the police investigation without a trace. However, I believed that he was doing it for the good of the family. I was sure there was nothing surprising about the incident. Farrell was just fabricating my crime.

The front door opened, but I didn't turn around. I knew it was the waiter who came to bring lunch. I glanced at my watch and took out my vibrating cell phone. It took him so long to contact me. Did he think there was another way to solve his problem?
