I pace the room as I wait for Fredrick to get back to me; I knew that he could find any werewolf anywhere within the kingdom, as it was something our father would do all the time when he was looking for us and we were trying to hide from him after doing something that we knew would get us into trouble.
He would always find us and then one day I had actually asked him how and he told me what a King could do but it seems he had only told me half, maybe not even that. I guess if I had taken him up on the offer of the King’s position then I would have been informed of everything he could do.

ANNALISE…I don’t answer him; I recover my steps and continue to run as fast and as quietly as I can.
