I wake up in chases arms to him gently rubbing my back I open my eyes to him staring deeply at me.

“What are you thinking about”

“Well if you were wearing my mark you would know”

“Hmm we could mark each other now if you like”

“As enticing as that may be I think we should wait until after we take control of the obsidian pack don’t you”

I sit up a little annoyed staring at him!

“No why do you think we should wait until then? It would be handy to be able to mindlink you during battle”

“Because if I mark you I want to mate you too what if you fall pregnant you would be out of the battle of that were the case or touch wood what if something were to happen to either one of us during the battle the other would also die with the loss”

“Nothing is certain in war princess besides we still haven’t spoke about what pack we would be in neither of us has a sibling to take over the alpha title for the pack we are both expected to be the next alpha
