I thought it was all

I was sitting on the couch in my house when I heard her honking in the compound. I slowly picked up my phone and walked out. I walked majestically to the car. She stared at me for a while before bursting into laughter. “What the hell are you wearing Jerry? I thought you are not ready for anything serious?” She asked still laughing at me. I hissed silently as I entered the car. “Well, just wanted to give the so-called friend something to think about,” I said winking my eyes.

She laughed out loud and started driving. “You know you are wicked right? I have seen how guys from your school flirt with you but you keep on ignoring them. Why not settle for one?” She said as she concentrated on the road. I giggled a bit staring at my phone. “Oh please, Dee. I am serious about not being ready.” I said looking at my phone. I quickly dropped the phone and faced her. “Oh, there will be a grand party in the mansion next month. I think we should attend. Everyone will be there.” I said looking at her
