The message he had received a while ago wasn’t enough to pull him out of his office. He wasn’t yielding to yet another pest that wasn’t Calista. His father’s message for an impromptu meeting with his acclaimed betrothed came out of the blue. Mr. Lewiston still didn’t get it, did he?
