Confrontations and Confessions

“Ranya,” Damian called, walking briskly towards him. Ranya wore a displeased expression, glaring angrily at Damian for his untimely interruption.

If he had known it was Damian, he wouldn’t have stopped, and now he had lost Calista. As much as he wanted to stop chasing after her, he couldn’t seem to breathe when she wasn’t near him.

“Goodness, Ranya, you walk so fast I can hardly keep up with you.”

“And what in the world is your problem?” Ranya asked, gritting his teeth as he marched angrily towards Damian.

“My God, chill, man,” Damian said, raising his hands in defense while stepping backward, trying to escape Ranya’s hateful glare. “You’ve been acting so impulsively lately; I just had to call you to order.”

Ranya stopped abruptly, raising an eyebrow at Damian’s comment. If chasing the woman he wanted so badly was impulsive, then he wouldn’t mind doing it over and over.

“Whatever I do, Damian, is none of your business!”
