CHAPTER 12: The sad truth

After dropping Rowan off at school, Ethan and Fiona headed to their family's psychologist hospital, where it was likely they would meet him.

“Mr. Miller, what was in the documents my stepmother showed you?” Fiona asked curiously, her gaze briefly meeting him.

"It's his medical report," he replied, taking his gaze off the road to take a quick look at Fiona before returning it to the road again. “But I don’t trust the reports,” Ethan added.

“Do you think it would be a fake one, or maybe she forged it?” Fiona raised a curious brow.

Ethan nodded slightly. “I think so,” he paused and furrowed his brow. “But, come to think of it, if it were to be a fake one, do you think she would have it since she doesn’t know Mr. Robinson’s intention of giving all his properties to you?” Ethan added.
