"Excuse me?"
Anne was stunned by her sudden reaction. She cleared her throat and avoided my eyes.
I'm not sure if this is the first time that she lost her temper. I guess, Liam still affects her. That increases my curiosity about their past relationships. I know that I shouldn't fry on her business with him, but I can't help it. I wanted to know more about Anne's past since she's working and close to my boyfriend, Andrew.
"A-Andrew, I suddenly feel unwell. Can we just meet tomorrow about the contract?" Anne asked looking so pale.
Andrew nodded but looks confused. "Sure, you look pale. Let's meet tomorrow."
