Rogue
We’ve been on the road for six hours now. Sky was quietly asleep at the back of the car since we got up early. I stretched the blanket on his body to cover him up properly before I lifted my mask and lowered my face cap so I could focus on the road.
I was identified as a kidnapper a few weeks ago and honestly, it didn’t bother me. Human affairs could always be dealt with later especially since I didn’t kidnap the kid, he followed me. One day our journey will end and that was no time from now or so I hoped.
I slowed down so as not to arouse police suspicion at a check point. I wasn’t nervous, a straight face as I drove by before I lowered my window.
“Good day Miss.” The police officer said as I nodded at the officer without lifting my face.
“Good day sir.” I replied as my hand went to my cap.
I pulled off the cap as my eyes remained focus on the officer who was le
LeaThe atmosphere felt tense as I watched Sam test the cure I had made. His eyes were empty, his lips thin and I knew that a lot of questions were running through his head.“You should say your mind no matter how hard it comes.” I said as Sam stopped and moved his head towards me. “I know you are confused because of everything we told you.”“What do you expect me to say? That I am angry? Disappointed? Confused and hurt? Those words don’t come close to what I’m feeling right now. Each and every one of you lied about my parental lineage and now we’re in danger of the world ending, you want to clear your conscious.” Sam replied as he focused on his job.“I’ll give you some space but I truly want you to know that it was never my intention to lie to you especially this long and I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me. My regrets are more than my efforts and being alive d
Rogue“The location of the second key is with the one most loved by the queen witch.” Micah informed me as he sipped his drink.“The queen witch’s beloved is dead.” I said as Micah laughed.“You think so? I guess you haven’t heard about her precious grandson. It isn’t everyone that knows who he is but he is one of the seven mages with potentials no one can rival.”“Meaning you have not seen him?”“Yes. I hear he is young and a hybrid but I’ve never been able to confirm it but if you say Lea is focused on stopping this new world you wish to create, it’s possible she is already with the guardian of the second key. Find Lea, find him; simple explanation.” Micah said as I frowned before I folded my hand.“I was hoping to kill her after I had the third key.” I said as
ElijahWe had Rogue securely chained to a chair with pure silver with a symbol on the ground supernatural creatures couldn’t escape. It was cruel watching the pure metal burning her skin but it was the only thing that could keep her weakened with her dying. Rogue was good at playing at people’s intelligence and she carefully chose her words. What had happened earlier wasn’t easy for anyone especially Sam who locked himself up in a room the moment we had Rogue chained up.It was only a blind man who wouldn’t know immediately that Sam was Rogue’s biological child. They looked alike, their blood had a little of each other and the conflicted pain in Rogue’s face didn’t deny she knew of his existence. It confused me. Rogue wasn’t exactly human but she wasn’t a vampire. Charlie and her siblings were the first originals to walk on the planet and unless he was bitten by one of them, it was gen
RogueQueen Leila was engaged to the crown prince when she was seven years old and at sixteen she was his wife and the kingdom’s queen. Leila had everything men wanted in a woman, uniqueness, intelligence, beautiful, talented and influential. Leila was everything but selfless, everything she did, she did for a benefit.Twenty five years, Queen Leila had no heir and she wasn’t willing to give up her title, power and affection to a woman who was far too inferior to any common woman who would take her husband so she devised a plan.“They say you can help me have a child.” Queen Leila said as the witch behind the veil nodded once.“However there is no fruit sweet to pluck from you, you are rotten.” The witch said, keeping the veil on as Leila felt insulted. She knew her body couldn’t conceive children after a deadly poison that was meant to kill her husband but sacrifices had to be made f
ElijahIt has been seven days since we captured Rogue and learnt of a very horrifying and demoralizing truth. Rogue hadn’t made any attempt to escape or struggle, quiet as she watched the ceiling and sang a foreign lullaby while drifting in and out of consciousness.Sam dedicated his time trying to cure Rogue and Klaus though we knew that if Rogue was cured, Klaus would be cured.Lea felt guilty and the relationship between me, Sam and her was uncertain. She spent most of her days locked in her room; drinking till she was asleep and I didn’t feel I was the right person to talk to her because of what I knew.No matter the unidentified feelings I had towards her, I was grateful that I was able to meet a wonderful person like Charlie.Charlie might be a personality but she was real to everyone and so were Charlie’s feelings towards us.I entered the room where Sam was perfectly the cure to the infecti
RogueThe ride to my hideout in a stolen car was longer than I had expected. The metallic taste of Samuel’s blood was still on my tongue as I nibbled on my lips to fight off any harmful habits.“Mmm…” I heard Samuel moan as I used the mirror in the car to look at him.His eyes opened as it went to the sun before he hissed in detest and sat up properly. He pulled his arms a little but the feeling of the chains on his hand made him realize the situation he was in.“Where am I?” He asked as his eyes weakly looked at the mirror.“You are with me.” I said as he adjusted his position. I could see his attempt to use magic but nothing happened. “The chain is a kind of anti-magic tool. Lea should have been kind to use that on me.”“How come I’m not infected yet?” He asked and I slowed down.“You are but it takes at least three days to manifest
ElijahWe had barely survived the fire that had spread around the whole building. We thought we had Rogue in our hands but she seemed to be seven steps ahead of us. It was annoying and frustration and the worst part was that Klaus and Samuel were missing.I knew within myself he was alive, Azreal agreed that he didn’t feel Klaus’ energy when the house was on fire and I knew that Rogue took Samuel because he had the second key and she was trying to protect him from herself or rather from what she was going to bring.“This is precisely why Larissa and I needed to subdue her, she’s getting more intelligent.” Lea said as she clenched on the broken wood of the building. “Rogue is out of control and Samuel is in danger as long as he is around her.”“How?” I asked.“The second key in embedded in him and only the blood of the witch queen and a few selective members can bring it ou
SamuelI stood from a height as I watched the sky painted red like it had been soaked in blood. It was daytime with creatures in the air falling down with speed as it destroyed places where canons and landmines could be heard. It took me some time to realize that it was demons that were falling like that. I could also make out some angels that stroke as the streets were stained with blood.I heard the cries of thousands, hunger, strife, fear; I could feel it all before I was suddenly in a dark tunnel.“Where am I?” I asked as I kept walking in deeper and deeper to the tunnel. I tripped on my foot as I stared at a train that was approaching me but I couldn’t move; I was stuck to the ground.“Hey Samuel, it’s time for you to wake up.” A female’s voice whispered.I gasped as I opened my eyes before I sat up and searched around in panic. I touched my chest and examined my body before I r
Dear readers, I apologise for not giving a heads up on the hiatus but I will pause this project and start again around november or december. I am a college student and it can be very difficult balancing your education, social and private life. I hope you all can bear with me but in the mean time to keep you away from boredom, I have a few books written. Please support me and check them out if you ever want to have another taste of my writing. Thank you so much for the three thousand views, I never expected my first straight werewolf book to achieve that much under a short period of time but I'm thankful for everything. Love, Psycho-chan.
CharlieI was panting hard as I held my bleeding hand that had lost two fingers from the game we were playing.“Play your next move.” Rogue said as I glared at her before I stared at the board. This was the seventeenth time we were playing this game and I was yet to win a single game. I had traded so many parts, each regenerating as the games went on. I couldn’t understand how she was doing it, how she was cheating or bending the rules to her favor unless there was some unknown external influence. How could I get them in my favor? It suddenly occurred to me that Eliza was not here. I looked around for her but she was nowhere to be seen before I saw a mirror behind Rogue.Rogue’s eyes were still on the chess pieces as I stared deep into the mirror and realized something about me and Rogue.“No.” I replied as I stood up. “This game was always a trap; an illusion to eras
ElijahI could feel it; Donna as well and we both whined as the alphas and Lea looked at us. The alphas understood what our grief was about Lea who was quiet said absolutely nothing as we headed for the alpha mansion.Freya is dead.I could no longer feel her life force as my beta and my mate and I had a feeling our son might have been feeling sad without knowing why.I said nothing as we entered the quarters and the scent of blood hit us hard before our eyes went to the dead werewolves on the ground.Rogue had single handedly killed seventeen werewolves, as we got closer I caught a whiff of Freya’s scent with a stranger and we all stood still as we watched a red wolf, almost as big as me sit with his tail covering Freya’s body.I morphed back as I ran to her body before my eyes met with the wolf whose eyes were red; revealing he was the new alpha of the North. He stepped back and slowly removed h
LeaThe hour had come and they had been hundred of witches and wizards that appeared to help out with the war. I ran as I saw wolves attacking each other, killing off threats as I casted another spell. The mission was for all alphas and I to get to where Freya was because we had a strong feeling Rogue would be there as Freya planned everything to destroy her.I casted an energy blast in the midst of enemies as it spread into a fire, creating paths for me as I walked through without fear or hesitation. The North was full of vegetation; navigation was a little difficult as I headed to the pack house as Jerry’s instruction.“From the little information we have; it’s safe to predict that Freya has a way of monitoring the enemies without leaving her comfort zone. NarratorThe tension could be sensed from all-round as day slowly broke. The werewolves of the North stood in their huge land, broad and wide as they protected the area while waiting for the enemies who would come for the moon during full moon.Aggression and passive anger polluted the air as Freya sat in her throne with a glass of wine waiting for her enemy. It was only fair to her to relax and monitor the battle through the eyes of her slaves so as to strategize her next movement.“Good things come to good people.” Freya whispered before she took another sip and Vigil, her loyal beta entered with a poker on his face.“We have site of the enemies.” Vigil informed me. “Our trackers pick a scent coming from the West, one from Central and one coming from South.”“Did you say Central?” Freya asked and Vigil nodded. “What did our informants say?”“Unfortunat
Dead ravens everywhere. I was silent as my eyes went up to the blood moon that changed to the form of a solar eclipse before it disappeared after sometime. I was in the centre of thousands of dead ravens before I heard a hollow voice.“Wake up Samuel.”I gasped as my eyes opened before my breathing slowly calmed down and I heard a breath of relief from a familiar voice.I sat up and stared into Rogue’s eyes that had a straight face even as the blood tickled her skin before she hugged me and buried her hands in my hair.“Thank you for not dying.” Rogue whispered as she held me close before she pulled back and I felt a soft tug on my cloth.“Are you going to be okay?” Sky asked, clearly concerned as I touched the place where I was stabbed. The placed had healed up nicely like it had never been opened but then my eyes caught sight of the markings on my body that were similar to Rogue’s ma
RogueI could feel it. The third key’s power was getting stronger as the full moon approached. It was the perfect time for war and most supernaturals powers would be at its peak in those moments.August has been on edge as he spread his vines around, watching and observing for any danger that would come to harm the two keys in my possession.I was close to deciphering the spell placed on Samuel when he least expected but I wanted to gain his trust. I needed him to be on my side when everything began but so far I have only been able to complicate our relationship more and I hated him.I wished for him to call me mother and I wished to see my daughter as well who was trapped on the other side. I could always sense her when I crossed into Remission but when I went after her energy, the dimension would be forced to shut or I would encounter enemies.I was trying and everyone was against me simply because of I was their excuse for
LeaThe werewolves were known to be a traditional species that stuck to customs and laws like elves and dwarves but Elijah’s pack didn’t give off that traditional energy at all. They had a dual political system and the position which his partner had was more of a diplomatic position that was decided by appointment but they still answered to Elijah who was the head alpha and a first generation werewolf.I liked Donna, his partner and I understood why Brandon was her beta. She was a complete opposite of the sweet and gentle werewolf and it was hard to find a British that made sass look sexy.I was impressed with how much change had been developed but Elijah had pointed out it was very few packs that had evolved. My hands stopped on the doors of the hall where Elijah had invited me to attend the meeting before I pushed the doors opened and my presence called for silence.Eight alphas, seven central regions. They all
