SYNOPSIS
Charlie Griffin is missing rather her presence from her body as Elijah, Azreal, Klaus and Lea are trying to find who is the fake.
Signs start to guide Elijah and strange events happen to the world they love as Charlie slowly gathers the pieces of the key with a large bounty on her head.
The prophesy of Charlie starting the war is slowly happening, leaving Elijah powerless especially since he has less than two years to live.
Two years to break an unforgiving curse amd two years to save the woman he loves while ending this war.
The only wisdom he knows is with sacrifice comes great responsibilities.
The only way to save Charlie is simply remember.
The three of us were in the bedroom Charlie occupied as we stared at the writing on the wall. The writing was rough, messy, and meaningless while inked with blood in a language or a code I could not understand as Klaus studied the writing on the wall.“This is certainly Charlie’s handwriting and I feel it is a warning but I can’t understand it.” Klaus said as he pulled his hand away from the dried blood.“You’re linked to Charlie, can’t you track her location?” I asked as Klaus shook his head.“This fake apparently knows more about vampires than I expected. She’s very intelligent to have us all fooled.” Klaus said as he bit his fingernail. “Except Azreal.”“This message was written at a moment Charlie had temporal consciousness. It seemed she was fighting this imposter while putting the message that was why she wasn’t able to write words but…” Kla
“Good morning father Daniel.” The warden greeted as he shook my hand.“Good morning warden. The lord be with you.” I said as I made a cross sign while the warden did the same as well.“Bless you father.”He replied.“Hope I’m not too early?” I asked as the warden laughed.“Not at all.” The warden said as he stretched his hand to the path. “Please follow me.”We walked side by side together as we passed jailers and a few prisoners that had all life and excitement squeezed from their eyes.“I heard this prisoner I came to pray for is a difficult case.” I said as the warden nodded.“Difficult is a sweet word for her. She’s a nutcrack, violent, vulgar, intelligent and cunning. A psychopath.” The warden said as I held my bible tightly.“Why was she put in here?” I asked as the warden sighed.“The lady i
My relationship with Rogue grew each time I visited her. Rogue was more of a listener than a talker and when she spoke, nasty word left her lips yet the taste of her poison drowned me beyond recovery. The bond between us became stronger and from friends we fell in love but I could never reciprocate those feelings because no matter how I looked at it, Rogue was dangerous even more than our curse.“Have you ever wondered what death is like Daniel?” Rogue asked as I stopped reading the bible to her.I closed the bible as she slowly rocked her chair back and front with a smile on her face.“Why do you ask that Rogue?” I asked as she hummed as though I hadn’t asked her a question.“Once upon a time, there was a child born with a curse. She had the gift to see demons and things beyond human understanding, her parents feared and abandoned her, society rejected her, the orphanage wanted her dead but she got to them first
The questions asked were exhausting, mentally and emotionally but I answered everything honestly excluding my relationship with Rogue and the letter written with her own blood.I wasn’t afraid of death after facing it too many time, I was afraid of the damage that will grow with her identity being discovered. The pope will have this solved with the royal family but outsiders must never know unless necessary. It was late when I decided to return back to the church but when I opened the doors of the church, there were bodies scattered all around with the body of one of the sister’s tied to the cross where Jesus body was crucified. It was absolutely terrifying as I ran around checking the bodies in hope someone was barely alive but there was no one.Everyone was dead.“I apologize for what happened to your church and the members. It’s been a long day so why don’t you get some rest while we ar
Lea came out of the room Klaus was resting as Azreal and I waited for her answer. We were already having more than enough problems with Rogue; we didn’t need another one especially a firstborn vampire like Klaus.“How is he doing?” I asked as Lea sighed.“We all know he is clearly infected. I would quarantine you two before finding a spell to cure the darkness that has contaminated the infected but I know how Klaus got infected.” Lea said as Azreal approached her.“How did that happen?” Azreal asked.“The bond. The bond between a master and a firstborn.” Lea replied as we kept quiet.“This is really bad because if an original’s bond affects their offspring it would be bad if Rogue affects them as a prequel to the war she wants to start. Witches are already in a tight spot trying to capture Rogue when her arrival activated the keys.” Lea explained as I stood stiffly.&ldq
My phone rang as the name popped up on the scream. I smiled believing it was a reminder to call her and talk to my son since I was mentally stressed.I answered the phone but instead of the voice of my mom, it was my co-alpha; Donna Wilson.“Elijah you have to return to pack's territory.” She demanded with her thick British accent as my smile fell.“You know that’s not possible Donna, I have to find…”“Freya; right. That mission is already over, we know where Freya is and what she’s been doing is putting the lives of innocents in danger.” Donna explained vaguely as my brow furrowed in confusion.“I need a more extensive explanation to quickly run back.” I replied as Donna cursed.“It isn’t easy handling all the responsibilities alone especially since I’m single with a less burdened alpha whose job has
I sat in a chair adjacent to Grace’s bed as I watched her sleeping. Owen was already asleep by the time we returned and Grace was almost completely healed when we arrived. The ladies just changed her to something comfortable and easy to remove so we could solve matters later.“I’ve never seen you so lost in thought.” I heard a familiar British accent that had me relax with a smile.“Reminiscence keeps the mind lost and the body exhausted Mrs. Wolfe.” I said as my mother sat beside me.“Who is she? Is she related to your…” I nodded before she completed her statement. “What’s your relationship?”“She was my daughter in one of my life. I thought she was dead but Bell kept hoping and it was that hope caused her to die of a broken heart.” I said like it was a painful memory. “However I know it’s her but her scent is different. It’s like Charlie’s
There's a storm coming and everyone is unaware of the unfathomable disaster that is about to befall because a demon is unleashed to a world already corrupted by corrupted species.Things get heated and complicated as Rogue as decides to start the game that could end the existence of all mortals.Rogue is diligently gathering the keys as she destroys all who stands in her way while her friends are doing everything to stop her. Humanity suffers which each key found; love and hate are placed on the same stage leaving nowhere safe.It takes more than just words to go to a war with a known enemy but how much will Elijah sacrifice for one who should no longer exist? Will love conquer all even a truth that is too painful to bear or will mortals perish for all eternity?
Dear readers, I apologise for not giving a heads up on the hiatus but I will pause this project and start again around november or december. I am a college student and it can be very difficult balancing your education, social and private life. I hope you all can bear with me but in the mean time to keep you away from boredom, I have a few books written. Please support me and check them out if you ever want to have another taste of my writing. Thank you so much for the three thousand views, I never expected my first straight werewolf book to achieve that much under a short period of time but I'm thankful for everything. Love, Psycho-chan.
CharlieI was panting hard as I held my bleeding hand that had lost two fingers from the game we were playing.“Play your next move.” Rogue said as I glared at her before I stared at the board. This was the seventeenth time we were playing this game and I was yet to win a single game. I had traded so many parts, each regenerating as the games went on. I couldn’t understand how she was doing it, how she was cheating or bending the rules to her favor unless there was some unknown external influence. How could I get them in my favor? It suddenly occurred to me that Eliza was not here. I looked around for her but she was nowhere to be seen before I saw a mirror behind Rogue.Rogue’s eyes were still on the chess pieces as I stared deep into the mirror and realized something about me and Rogue.“No.” I replied as I stood up. “This game was always a trap; an illusion to eras
ElijahI could feel it; Donna as well and we both whined as the alphas and Lea looked at us. The alphas understood what our grief was about Lea who was quiet said absolutely nothing as we headed for the alpha mansion.Freya is dead.I could no longer feel her life force as my beta and my mate and I had a feeling our son might have been feeling sad without knowing why.I said nothing as we entered the quarters and the scent of blood hit us hard before our eyes went to the dead werewolves on the ground.Rogue had single handedly killed seventeen werewolves, as we got closer I caught a whiff of Freya’s scent with a stranger and we all stood still as we watched a red wolf, almost as big as me sit with his tail covering Freya’s body.I morphed back as I ran to her body before my eyes met with the wolf whose eyes were red; revealing he was the new alpha of the North. He stepped back and slowly removed h
LeaThe hour had come and they had been hundred of witches and wizards that appeared to help out with the war. I ran as I saw wolves attacking each other, killing off threats as I casted another spell. The mission was for all alphas and I to get to where Freya was because we had a strong feeling Rogue would be there as Freya planned everything to destroy her.I casted an energy blast in the midst of enemies as it spread into a fire, creating paths for me as I walked through without fear or hesitation. The North was full of vegetation; navigation was a little difficult as I headed to the pack house as Jerry’s instruction.“From the little information we have; it’s safe to predict that Freya has a way of monitoring the enemies without leaving her comfort zone. I don’t know how she does it but it is obvious she will be expecting just wolves to attack since she has no idea about Miss Lea and if she does, her

NarratorThe tension could be sensed from all-round as day slowly broke. The werewolves of the North stood in their huge land, broad and wide as they protected the area while waiting for the enemies who would come for the moon during full moon.Aggression and passive anger polluted the air as Freya sat in her throne with a glass of wine waiting for her enemy. It was only fair to her to relax and monitor the battle through the eyes of her slaves so as to strategize her next movement.“Good things come to good people.” Freya whispered before she took another sip and Vigil, her loyal beta entered with a poker on his face.“We have site of the enemies.” Vigil informed me. “Our trackers pick a scent coming from the West, one from Central and one coming from South.”“Did you say Central?” Freya asked and Vigil nodded. “What did our informants say?”“Unfortunat
Dead ravens everywhere. I was silent as my eyes went up to the blood moon that changed to the form of a solar eclipse before it disappeared after sometime. I was in the centre of thousands of dead ravens before I heard a hollow voice.“Wake up Samuel.”I gasped as my eyes opened before my breathing slowly calmed down and I heard a breath of relief from a familiar voice.I sat up and stared into Rogue’s eyes that had a straight face even as the blood tickled her skin before she hugged me and buried her hands in my hair.“Thank you for not dying.” Rogue whispered as she held me close before she pulled back and I felt a soft tug on my cloth.“Are you going to be okay?” Sky asked, clearly concerned as I touched the place where I was stabbed. The placed had healed up nicely like it had never been opened but then my eyes caught sight of the markings on my body that were similar to Rogue’s ma
RogueI could feel it. The third key’s power was getting stronger as the full moon approached. It was the perfect time for war and most supernaturals powers would be at its peak in those moments.August has been on edge as he spread his vines around, watching and observing for any danger that would come to harm the two keys in my possession.I was close to deciphering the spell placed on Samuel when he least expected but I wanted to gain his trust. I needed him to be on my side when everything began but so far I have only been able to complicate our relationship more and I hated him.I wished for him to call me mother and I wished to see my daughter as well who was trapped on the other side. I could always sense her when I crossed into Remission but when I went after her energy, the dimension would be forced to shut or I would encounter enemies.I was trying and everyone was against me simply because of I was their excuse for
LeaThe werewolves were known to be a traditional species that stuck to customs and laws like elves and dwarves but Elijah’s pack didn’t give off that traditional energy at all. They had a dual political system and the position which his partner had was more of a diplomatic position that was decided by appointment but they still answered to Elijah who was the head alpha and a first generation werewolf.I liked Donna, his partner and I understood why Brandon was her beta. She was a complete opposite of the sweet and gentle werewolf and it was hard to find a British that made sass look sexy.I was impressed with how much change had been developed but Elijah had pointed out it was very few packs that had evolved. My hands stopped on the doors of the hall where Elijah had invited me to attend the meeting before I pushed the doors opened and my presence called for silence.Eight alphas, seven central regions. They all
