"Are you alright?" A familiar voice spoke softly and my eyes fluttered open. "Are you alright, my love?" His voice wreaked of worry and his eyes locked with mine.

I gradually registered that I was laying on something soft and I forced myself to sit up, from here, I felt less vulnerable and open to an attack.
