Chapter 178
In the afternoon, Augustus called Lisa to inform her about the dinner at his mother's place.
He told Lisa that he will pick her up early. Lisa agreed.
As Augustus came to pick her up, Lisa sat with a bunch of roses in her hand. "Roses?" Augustus asked raising his eyebrows.
"Uhmm people in cafe wanted to congratulate me about the .... Engagement..." she told him but her face was not happy at all. She looked lost as she stared out of the window the whole time.
Augustus sighed, he knew that he has always put the problems in her life more than the comfort. He won't deny that she was happy for the engagement with him but not as much as he is but he'll try his best to make her happy and forgive him wholeheartedly.
They picked the kids from the school together, as they walked in together everyone greeted them respectfully.
