TWO LOVERS, ONE NIGHT

Nicholas went back to where Danika was sitting. He looked down at her. "You said my mother told you about my allergies."

"Yes, she clearly instructed us not to give you wine and -" she scratched her head. "- and grapes - or? I have forgotten the other one." She lied.

Nicholas was dumbfounded, but he had no genuine evidence she was Danika. He opted in for the next thing in line. "Do you know Danika?" He asked.

"Who is Danika?"

"Danika? I don't know who that is." She shook her head and made sure she kept eye contact with him.

"Alright." He said and went back to his seat, but deep down, he felt Danika's presence. As soon as he had his seat he remembered Avery. "Avery!" He snapped, stood, and went inside. He left everyone in shock and he was glad they didn't call him back.

"What's wrong with him?" Devon asked Nahigra.

"Maybe he is going inside to take care of Avery." She smiled.

"What's the smile for?" Devon frowned.
