RORY'S POV

Elijah led me through the castle's grand hallway, adorned with cobweb-covered portraits, and stopped in front of a small, plain door.

"This is where you'll stay,”

he said, pushing the door open.

The room was tiny, with stone walls and a single, narrow window. A small bed and a wooden chest were the only furniture.

Elijah pointed down the hallway.

"The Alpha's tea is waiting. Be quick about it,”

He turned and walked away, leaving me alone in the unfamiliar room.

I looked around, feeling lost.

"Tea?"

I whispered to myself. How was I supposed to make tea when I didn't even know where the kitchen was?

I slumped onto the wooden bed, the rough texture a big difference to the pain I felt inside. Memories of my mother's screams, her body consumed by flames, still lingered in my mind like an open wound. I felt a pang in my chest, a mix of grief, anger, and helplessness.

"Now he's my mate?"

I whispered, shocked. I longed for Elara's presence, but she'd vanished since Alpha Renzo's declaration. I felt isolated and alone.

"Tea!"

Elijah yelled from outside the door, jolting me out of my thoughts. I sprang to my feet, following him out of the room.

After making our way through several hallways, we arrived at the kitchen, where the scent of baking bread filled the air. The room was warm and cozy, with soft light spilling from the candles on the wooden countertops. Three young women with worn expressions were busy with their tasks, their hands moving deftly as they chopped vegetables and stirred pots.

"Meet the Alpha's mistresses,"

Elijah said.

"Get acquainted, and then send him his tea," He turned and left.

The women barely acknowledged me, their faces filled with disdain. One of them, with a particularly cold gaze, spoke up.

"I'm Zara, the Alpha's oldest mistress."

"I am—"

"You're Rory, the Alpha's mate,"

she cut in, her voice dripping with malice.

"The one whose actions led to her mother's... unfortunate fate,”

The other women snickered, their laughter piercing my heart like a knife.

I tried to defend myself.

"That's not true. Alpha Renzo was responsible for my mother's death, not me,"

Zara handed me a tray with a steaming teapot. The aroma of earl grey tea wafted up, mixed with a hint of bergamot and a subtle smokiness.

"Take this to the Alpha," she instructed. "His chamber is down the hallway. You'll be making his tea from now on."

I walked down the hallway, my heart racing with every step. I knocked on the door, and a low, husky voice bade me enter.

I pushed open the door, and my eyes widened at the scene before me. Alpha Renzo sat on a plush couch, a cigar clenched between his teeth. A young girl stood before him naked, her eyes downcast and her body trembling.

My hands shook, but I forced myself to maintain a steady manner. Alpha Renzo's gaze flicked to me, and he sneered.

"Right on time," he said, taking the tea tray from my hands.

The girl's eyes met mine, and I saw a flash of fear and shame. Alpha Renzo's hand closed around her wrist, and he pulled her closer.

"Mate, meet my youngest mistress, Mira," he said, his voice dripping with malice.

He stood up, and his eyes locked onto mine. I felt a surge of discomfort as he revealed his lower body. His boxers were pulled down, exposing his...private area. My face burned with embarrassment, and I looked away, trying to process what was happening.

"Now watch me fuck her,"

He said, pulling down his shorts and revealing his private area. His dick was surprisingly large, about six inches.

He stroked Mira's butt and bent her over. He positioned himself against her and began to move his dick in and out. Gently at first. I could hear Mira moan and they weren't sounds of pain. She was probably enjoying it. As he continued to move his dick in and out of her his eyes were on mine, filled with a mixture of challenge and lust. He went in harder and harder and I wondered if this was what intimacy looked like.

Mira's moans grew louder as he moved faster, his eyes locked on mine. Mira's voice got louder like she was asking him to keep going. After a few minutes her legs started shaking uncontrollably. He finished, and a white, sticky substance came out of his dick. He pulled away from Mira, and it dripped down her leg. Then, he put his shorts back on.

"That's how I want it, fucked, whenever it's your turn,"

he said casually, gulping down his tea.

"And that's part of my morning routine, so get used to it. Leave and shut the door,"

He looked at me.

I watched as Mira ran out of the room, but I stood there, frozen. This man had murdered my mother, and now he wanted to make me his tea maker and sex partner.

"I said leave!" he barked.

"That wasn't lovemaking," I spat.

"I don't make love, I fuck," he sneered.

"Well, you'll never get to fuck me," I declared.

"You don't have a choice," he growled, his face stern as he approached me.

"I'll never let the man who murdered my mother touch me," I vowed.

He tore my robe apart, revealing my round breasts and the pink scars on my back. The wounds, inflicted by my sister's whip, still stung, a painful reminder of her attempts to trigger my transformation.

For a moment, he paused, and I sensed a spark of attraction. The air was charged with tension, and I could swear he felt it too - the electric spark, the longing for a forbidden touch.

He bent down, his breath on my neck, sending shivers down my spine. "You still have no hint of wolf in you," he whispered.

"Ryker would never tear my clothes," I said defiantly.

"Who's Ryker?" he asked, his breath hot against my skin.

"The human I was caught with - Prince Ryker.”
