Martin already had no intention to continue bickering with them. Just as Caleb reached out to grab Martin’s elbow, Martin’s bodyguard appeared in a flash and stood in front of him Grace, separating them from Caleb and his wife.

Martin protected Grace as they got into the car, and the driver drove off. Caleb and his wife could not chase after them even if they wanted to.

In the car, Martin turned and looked at Grace. “Were you afraid that I would agree to their request?”
