Tomas had participated in this sort of event many times already, but he had never been paid so much attention to. It had always been him going to find Gov. Clegg on his own to chat. The governor had never automatically come to find him.

“Gov. Clegg,” Tomas finally said, no longer able to hold back.

Governor was shocked and only then realized that Tomas was there. “Mr. William is also here?”

The governor remembered how, when he came over, he seemed to have seen someone standing in front of Martina and Grace, as if they were chatting.

Clegg could not help but look at Tomas differently. “Mr. William and Mr. Chang are familiar with each other?”

Without waiting for Tomas to answer, Martin denied it. “We aren’t. I don’t know why he decided to stop me for no reason, saying that this is not a place that someone
