Ryan Griffin's Arrival

The next day, as the evening approached, Celine sent a text message to Tanya inviting her to the Griffin's house. After sometime, an expensive Rolls Royce was sent to pick Tanya.

On getting there, Celine was not waiting for her at the doorstep, like she had promised, So Tanya stood there after pressing the doorbell.

Just as she was still waiting for the door to be answered, a contemptuous voice suddenly came from the house as the door opened.

"Is this Young Master Kenneth's wife?" It was it was a maid who spoke out.

"Yes, I'm his wife, I'm here for Sister-in-law Celine" Tanya replied courteously trying to use the best of her voice. Be it maid or not, she shouldn't be on anyone's black book.

The maid bowed slightly gesturing her to enter. Timidly and panic stricken, Tanya stepped into the house. She met Mrs Linda there sipping tea while reading news paper.

She bowed slightly as greeted her. "Hello Aunt?"

She wondered where Celine could be at that moment, as she picked her phone and made to dial Celine but the older woman spoke up.

"Don't call her, she won't be here for you"

Tany is getting more and more confused! What is this woman spewing?

"Aunt, Celine....."

"I sent her an errand and she won't be back in some moments, why don't you sit and have a chat with me?" Mrs Linda asked smiling.

Grudgingly, Tanya sat and faced the woman like someone in an interview panel. Mrs Linda sipped her coffee as she glared at Tanya without any words.

After a long silence, Mrs Linda spoke up, "Tanya Lewiston right?"

"Yes Aunt" she replied.

Mrs Linda smiled maliciously again. Then she continued, "Why are you so persistent? I mean, after all that happened, you can still come back to this household?"

Tanya was thrown into confusion again, she looked at the woman, she didn't understand why she was saying all these, still she asked with the most courteous voice, "Aunt, what are you saying? That day is my first time here so what are you saying?"

"Stop with your presence Tanya Lewiston, did you have another motive for approaching Kenneth? Let me tell you, whatever your motive may be, I will never let you and Kenneth be together!" Mrs Linda swore.

Tanya gulped.

Indeed, she doesn't know what had happened. To her, the day she came with Kenneth was the first day of being there.

Originally, with Celine being absent, Tanya knew that she won't leave this outlandish stepmother-in-law in one piece if care is not taken. She secretly wished Celine could come back quickly.

How could she know that Ten years ago, she had an unforgettable experience with this Griffin's house. How could Tanya, who had amnesia remember that this Griffin's house has a great significance to her life?

That's why it's now, she couldn't even know whatever the meaning of what Mrs Linda said.

Mrs Linda stood up, she faced Tanya and immediately, she smiled and pretended to be friendly and said to her, "I'll call Celine, you can go upstairs in Kenneth's room to relax before she comes back"

From the moment she left, Tanya could feel their malicious eyes, It could be seen that this Mrs Linda was not a good person!

Now that she had such a friendly expression, it was confusing. But since she had already come, Tanya Lewiston was not someone who was afraid of things, How could a mere old lady get her? She just swore that she won't let her marriage with Kenneth last.

"As if she's his mother?" Tanya scoffed as she stood up to go the room that Kenneth grew up in.

As she stepped into the room, the first thing Tanya did was to fall on the best like a tied log.

"Ohhhhh, there's alot of madness in the Griffin's, that old woman won't let me off that easily" she lamented as she dialed Celine again.

She simply walked to the bathroom to have a look.

Who would have thought that as soon as she came out, she would heard the sound of the door opening?

Tanya was shocked for a second, she almost thought it was the Stepmother, then she suddenly turned her head and looked at the door.

The door opened, and a handsome man that's half naked appeared in front of her! She can't forget that face, she can never forget it....

RYAN GRIFFIN?

"Em, i... I think you entered the wrong room" She said trying to avoid the sight of his open chest.

Unexpectedly, Ryan Griffin who was standing there with a smirk did not show any intention of leaving.

"Shouldn't you be the one to leave?" He asked

Tanya once again ranted in her heart, She had really seen such a shameless person before. She didn't remember much of Ryan's personality, but given what Kenneth said about him, she could deduce that he won't like her either.

"You haven't—" She was just halfway through when she was interrupted by him.

"Don't you think you should go out? Sister-in-law?" He asked in a playful and mocking tone that made Tanya decided to hate him immediately.

Tanya was stunned for a moment. She opened her mouth slightly. After she calmed down, she calmed down and looked at the man rationally.

Ryan had long eyebrows, a high and straight nose, and cold thin lips that revealed ruthlessness.

Especially his bottomless black eyes, as if just one glance at him would send her into eighteen layers of hell. This is exactly a splitting resemblance of Kenneth Griffin. She thought.

The air between them is very cold and unaccommodating even though he was smirking.

Ryan took out his phone and dialed a phone, and he heard him said to the latter: "Hey, Guess who's here? Pretty thing you've got here"

Without explaining, she knew that was Kenneth. Thank Goodness, he'll surely come and save her from this haunting brother of his.

Just as Tanya was analyzing it in her heart, the man's voice sounded again.

"Tell me, who allowed you to come in? And who are you?" Hearing this, Tanya instantly understood that she had entered the wrong room.

She hasn't came to Kenneth's room but Ryan's.

She could hear approaching footsteps coming from outside, fervently and silently, Tanya prayed it should be Kenneth but it was Celine instead.

"Big brother when did you come back?" Celine asked from the door, seems like she hasn't realized they Tanya was there too.

Ryan smirked and turn around, that's when Celine knew that she was there as she quickly rushed over. "Sister-in-law, why are you here? Mum said you're in Brother Kenneth's room, why are you here?"

Tanya realized her stupidity, she scratched her head in nervousness, "Em... I... Came to this room by mistake, I don't know this is not Kenneth's room"

Celine rushed to her side and held her hand to take her out.

"Tanya!"

She looked up. Thanks Goodness, it was Kenneth.

Without giving any regard to his brother and little sister, Kenneth stormed into the room and took her hands and made to exit the room.

Ryan held Tanya's second hand, his playful face has changed to a cold and chilly expression that sends shivers down Tanya's spine. Kenneth's eyes were cold too. His eyelids and his entire face looked so chilly like someone born on a ice skates.

Trapped between these two domineering brothers, Tanya was rendered speechless. Waiting for what's to come.

"You're pretty fast Little brother, is she that important to you?" Ryan asked.

Without reply, Kenneth made to move again with Tanya still in his hands but Ryan was holding her back.

"You should answer when a question is thrown at you!" Ryan shouted.

Kenneth's gaze became more colder as he replied, "Seems like you're pretty jobless these days? You have nothing to do with my wife so stay in your lane!" He said almost shouting too.

Ryan left Tanya's hand and catwalked to Kenneth's side and glared at him.

"I have nothing to do with my brother's wife? Hey Kenneth Griffin, why did you bring he back to this household?"

"That's none of your concern!" Kenneth fired back almost immediately.

Ryan smirked and adjusted his coat and walked out of the room in slow steps. When he got to the staircase, he looked back and throw a question at him.

"Did you want history to repeat itself?"

Kenneth stood stunned. Tanya didn't understand whatever they are saying.

They both watched as he walked in slow steps to the living room.
