~MOBALI~

It was night time and I adjusted the curtains as I stared at the platinum blonde woman lying on the bed. I opened the bottle, and I applied the ointment onto her neck. I rubbed it in circular motions, just as Aunt May had ordered me to.

“I hate him,” she whispered with furrowed brows, startling me for a moment.

She's talking in her sleep. I sighed, for a second, I thought she was awake.

After I was done applying, I decided to take a closer look at her. Her almost white platinum blonde hair sprawled on the bed and her pink lips were pursed. Her pale yet flawless skin glowed under the moonlight.

I kind of missed her pair of blue eyes that would always glare at me.

“Wake up, you selfless bitch.” I muttered in her ear.

But then, if she wakes up, it means she's actually my mate. Well, she can never know that from me.

'If you wake up, I'll let you ride Midnight.' I said through our newly developed mind link not even sure that she would hear me.

Sighing, I made my way outside, leav

~ARET~I stood on the balcony watching the sunrise, I couldn't sleep as I kept having dreams of pups running around.“This is all Mobali's fault,” I muttered to myself while I dried my hair.Well, he wasn't the one who told you to play a prank.I pulled on black leather pants with a white shirt which I tucked into my pants, then I put on black knee-length boots.“Luna,” I turned to see Ahana and Hawaii standing by the doorway with a trolley of food in front of them.“I'll have only a cup of coffee,” I say, flashing a diplomatic smile.“You seem off, Luna, is it because of the children? You'll do fine." Ahana replies, pushing the trolley and placing the food on the table. That was the issue.I wasn't good with children, heck, I've never even been with any child!Sighing and glaring at my maids, I pick a fork, stabbing the grilled chicken with anger and stuffing it into my mouth. The door was barged open, making the girls gasp, while I struggled to swallow the chicken that was stuck in m

~ARET~“So…why didn't you want to join the other girls?” I asked Venus while we ate our noodles. We were sitting at the balcony with plates of noodles in our hands, watching the stars at night sky.She sighed, slurping her noodles. “They bully me, make me feel inferior. They say that I'm the cause of my mother's death, and they mock me that I act too interested in manly things because I was raised by my father and elder brother.” she says with a sniffle.“I-”“And it hurts so much! We had their bodies sent to the local mortuary until we could identify the owners. The day was calm and the air was warm, I was going to retire to my bed alone because Nova had to replace Aret at Glacier Tribe.“What's the update on the palace?” Mobali asked the guard that he had assigned to keep tabs on things while we were gone.“Sire, Beta Female Nova and her maid Yolanda with some other attendants have gone to Glacier Tribe and the news says they arrived safely, two of the tweens fought leading to some injuries, Princess Velia is assisting Future Supreme Luna Queen Aret in the infirmary with the injured girls, Luna Aret seems frustrated.” The guard explained, earning a nod from Mobali.“Would you like to visit the infirmary, Sire?” The guard asked, pointing towards the path to the Royal Infirmary.“That won't be necessary,” Mobali replied, waving the

Laurel would usually be seated here munching on grapes while thinking about her life.“Where is…where is everyone?” I asked, straining my ear to hear the cheers and chatters of the tweens Aret was supposed to be training.“Everyone apart from The Supreme Alpha King, Supreme Beta, Supreme Delta and Prince Aidan are at Lady Lorraine's house of fashion, it's the grand opening tonight and a fashion show.” Uyti explains.“Where are the Supreme Males?” I mutter, handing my gloves to Yolanda, my eyes hurt, and my feet ac

The twins stood together, side by side, staring at the birthday cake in front of them, adorned with three flickering candles. As the room echoed with cheerful voices wishing them a happy birthday, Mobali stepped up to a podium, his proud gaze fixed on the twins. "It's been three years since the great battle," he began, his voice strong and full of pride. "It's been three years since Queen Kaerlia, my mate, brought these two amazing pups into the world. I am proud to be their father. A toast to the prince and princess!"With a raise of his glass, everyone in the room followed suit, their glasses clinking together in a heartfelt toast. ~.KAERLIA .~I kept breathing into the paper bag as I could feel my insides churning. I was already nauseous and the day hadn't even begun.“I need another paper bag,” I mutter to Diana who ignores me and keeps massaging my shoulders. “Just take deep breaths, and calm down.” It was easier said than done.“The outfit is here!” I gasped, standing up from my seat as Laurel walked in with my dress in her hand. I smiled as I walked into the closet and Velia and Diana helped me put it on.The base of the gown was a rich, deep shade of royal blue, akin to the vast, starry night sky. It shimmered with a subtle luminescence as if tiny stars were embedded within the fabric itself. The gown was designed to flow gracefully around my figure, accentuating my natural elegance and poise. The bodice was adorned with intricate embroidery, resembling delicate lacework that mirrored the intricate patterns of frost on a winter morning. It sparkled with tiny crystal beads that caught the light, creating

She was dressed in a beautiful white gown adorned with delicate lace, her white hair flowing freely around her.A soft, familiar voice called her name, and she turned to find the source. Her eyes locked onto another pair of eyes, eyes she thought she would never see again."Mom?" Kaerlia asked with tears in her eyes, her voice quivering with emotion as she ran to embrace Khione, her mother."Oh, my baby, stop crying. "I wasn't talking to you, demon," he spat, his voice laced with a mix of rage and frustration. ~. MOBALI.~As I wake up, the bright light from the window hits my eyes. I run my hand through Kaerlia's side of the bed, but it's cold. I jolt, sniffing the room. Her scent has faded, which means she has been gone for hours, possibly days. How long have I been asleep?I look at the bedside table, and there lies a piece of paper. I pick it up and read its contents, "Dear Mobali, by the time you're reading this letter, it could have been days since I left for hell. I'm sorry, but I can't sit back and watch the werewolf race crumble. Please don't come after me, and I love you." I grip hard onto the piece of paper.Rising from the bed, I took a quick shower and dressed in my armor. Anger and determination coursed through my veins. I had to find her, I had to bring her back. How could she? How couldn't she see through Liliana’s plots? My heart clenched at the thought of her being dead already. "Guards! Open this door!" I roared, pounding on the unyielding brass doors. But the guards on th

~. .~Kaerlia managed to sneak out of the palace without anyone spotting her. The demons she encountered outside didn't attack her, rather they guided her to the path of the portal.Screeches echoed as she walked down the path, the horrid sounds of the demons and the undead ringing. The portal to Hell stood as a formidable, eerie gateway, a tear in the fabric of reality itself. It exuded an ominous and foreboding aura as if it were a maw to a world of unimaginable darkness and torment. The portal's frame was jagged and uneven, like fractured obsidian, emitting a faint, malevolent crimson glow. Within the opening, darkness extended infinitely, and an eerie, suffocating heat radiated from the abyss beyond. Distorted, ghostly silhouettes writhed and shifted within the portal, casting unsettling shadows and contributing to its sinister ambiance. As Kaerlia stood before the portal, it pulsed with otherworldly energy, beckoning her to enter. The moment the silver touched her skin, Kaerlia whimpered in excruciating pain, her limbs growing weak."You forget you're half-werewolf, and silver is one of your weaknesses," Liliana taunted, her voice dripping with cruelty.
