Shanon just walked towards her sister without answering her question. She hugged Avery tightly to shed all her tears on her shoulder.
Avery frowned in confusion at Shanon, then she looked at the taxi driver, who looked just as confused as her.
"What did you do to my sister?"
"Not me. She's been crying since she got into my taxi."
Avery let the taxi driver go and took Shanon into the house. Shanon still didn't want to say anything to her after they sat down in the living room. Avery suspected it had everything to do with Anthony. She saw that Shanon was still fine when she said to her that she was going to Anthony's house to get some of her stuff. But, when she arrived home, Shanon didn't bring anything at all, and instead cried hysterically until her whole face turned red.
"Do you want to tell me now?"
Shanon raised her face full of tears. She looked pathetic with red eyes and gasping for breath.
