“Cyrus, are you and Miss Korah...?”

Ekialde handed the tea respectfully to Cyrus. He asked the question tentatively.

“Stop asking about my personal life.” Cyrus remembered his promise to Korah. Although she was hot-tempered, she was a kind person.

Otherwise, she would not have prepared a sleeping mat and blanket for Cyrus in advance.

So, Cyrus felt that he should not destroy Korah’s reputation.

After Cyrus helped his master repay his favor, he would leave and return to his village and wait for his master to come back.

Cyrus understood what he meant. Team Four did not have much work to do. The people in this group existed only for one purpose: to muddle around.

“Does Team Four not have any assigned work?”

‘That’s true…’ Cyrus shook his head and sighed. It seemed like Wade and Korah sent him over here to humor Lufian.

At this time, Cyrus’ phone rang.

Alda was calling him.

“Cyrus, are you free now?” Alda asked with a hopeful tone.

“Yes. What is it?”

“My grandfather wanted you to come over to the hospital...”

Dr. Cohen?

Cyrus replied, “Okay. I will go over now.”

“I’ll wait for you at the hospital.” Alda ended the call happily.

“I’ll step out for a while.” Cyrus glanced at Ekialde, stood up, and left.

“Cyrus, don’t worry. I’ll deal with Miss Korah for you!” Ekialde patted his chest confidently.

Cyrus thanked him with a wave of his hand.

As he walked out of the office, his colleagues from the project department looked at him.

They were surprised that Cyrus looked totally fine. Then, what was with the huge ruckus from Team Four’s office just now?

“Mr. Long, are we going to find Miss Korah now?” Nigel went up and asked.

“Why? Are you going to snitch on Cyrus to Miss Korah?” Ekialde turned and glared at Nigel.

Nigel cowered. “Are we going to just admit defeat? He is just a newcomer...”

Ekialde snorted. “You’re too naive. Do you think that Cyrus is like any normal person? Miss Korah asked us to teach him a lesson, but doesn’t want anyone else to know about it.”

“Also, Cyrus seems to be able to ask favors of Mr. Gardner directly. Do you think that our grandfathers will go up against Mr. Gardner for trash like us?”

“If you think you’re so great, why would you be in this garbage heap?”

Talia felt aggrieved and said, “Mr. Long, stop calling us garbage. It’s so embarrassing...”

Ekialde did not want to continue the conversation with these fools.

Ekialde did not want to offend Cyrus unless Cyrus left the project department!

Otherwise... he was worried that he might get beaten by Cyrus every day!

“Dad, you asked for me?” Korah walked into the chairman’s office.

Wade showed a gloomy look and said, “We have identified the people who attacked you yesterday.”

Korah’s expression froze a little. Wade continued, “They are Marino’s subordinates.”

“Mr. Hunt’s subordinates...” Korah’s expression changed. “Why...?”

“It’s Haco Corporation that was supporting Marino.”

Korah breathed in slowly. “Because of the International Prosperous Project…?”

“Haco from the Haco Corporation did all kinds of illegal things before turning over a new leaf. Marino was his subordinate during that time...”

Wade had a dreary look. “So, I’m not surprised that he asked Marino to attack you...”

Korah felt a chill run down her spine. She knew they should not mess with these people, especially Haco Robinson, who would do anything to achieve his goals. He was probably trying to threaten them yesterday.

Haco Corporation had a larger amount of capital than Gardner Corporation. So, it would be difficult for Gardner Corporation to obtain the International Prosperous Project.

Furthermore, there were more than ten corporations targeting the International Prosperous Project within Atralo.

Gardner Corporation had hit a bottleneck in its development. So, if they managed to get the International Prosperous Project, the company could have a massive leap in its development.

However, if Haco Corporation obtained this project, it might end up acquiring Gardner Corporation in the future…

“Dad... are we going to give up?” Korah was not willing to give up, as they had been preparing for this project for a long time!

“We can’t give up... I heard that Mr. Penn had come over to Fliton City. Your grandfather knows many people, and maybe he’ll have the opportunity to meet people from the Penn family. If the Penn family can help us, we will certainly obtain the International Prosperous Project.”

Korah mumbled once she heard this. “You mean the Penn family...?”

She smiled bitterly and shook her head. She knew that the hope was too slim!

Cyrus walked out of the building. Suddenly, he frowned.

Someone was spying on him!

He originally wanted to call a cab to Thousand Medicine Pharmacy. But he changed his mind. He decided to walk and went into a dark alley.

Then, two men showed up at the corner and blocked the exit.

Cyrus turned back and asked bemusedly, “Aren’t you guys the ones who showed up yesterday?”

The two men rushed up and attacked Cyrus without any hesitation!

Cyrus frowned. The two men acted directly without hesitation. They did not even waste any time talking!

Swish!

One of the men held a dagger and swiped it at Cyrus’ throat. Cyrus stepped back and looked unhappy. “Such a ruthless attack... You guys are too dangerous, and I can’t let you leave this place alive!”

After talking, Cyrus tapped the ground with his feet, leapt up, and jumped behind them.

Then, he moved quickly, came closer to them, and punched them twice.

Snap!

The sound of bones breaking could be heard, and the breast bones of the two men sank slightly into their chests. They spat out a mouthful of blood!

The two men were horrified and immediately turned to escape!
