Deep In thoughts

During the party, Chloe was shocked to find out her husband's brother was her ex boyfriend. It was beyong her comprehension. she did not plan any of it but why does it feel like life was playing a cruel joke on her.

She remembered one time she was happy spending time with Ryan and how funny a nd sweet he was. He was there for her when alot of things happened in her life but him turning on her was unexpected.

 

Today, they did not want to spend the night at the Williams Mansion with alot of guests present but the old man insisted they spend the night. She was amazed at how the old ancestral home of her husband was maintained. Still retaining its original set up but also looked clean and modern it was beautiful. Though she saw the beauty but she was not in the right frame of mind to appreciate it.

Leo held her hand as two servants led them upstairs to the third floor at the right hand side of the spiral spider web stairs. From the floor you could see the entire sitting area standing at the rails above.

Tightly holding her hand, Leo could not Fathom what had happened at the party but he knew definitely something was wrong with his brother. The way he was looking at his wife was not normal. There was a sense of Jeolousy as well as his eyes were full of love and a tinge of pain. He knew his wife well. She hid her emotions well but he felt her tension when he was introducing his brother to her.

Like any man, there was an alert when the two met and the way they behaved around each other. There must've been something.

He was eager to know what was going on but he did not want to startle her. Back in the room, it was so beautiful. It was huge room but with old but clean furniture. It was not really bad but compared with the set of furniture they have at their new home, this was old fashioned. She took in everything in her mind as she admired his sense of style. He was a man of fashion and had a mind of a genius

" Are you okay" Leo walked behind her and enbraced her from the back.

No one would believe the cold CEO and the domineering man out there was that loving to his wife. But what he showed to the party is what he does daily to his wife. He showers her with love and affection like no other. He wished he could do more for her. Only he knew why he chose her and why he loved her. Even Chloe was clueless. Everytime he looked at her, he was reminded of that one time a small girl's bravery saved his life in a ghastly accident

He felt like he owed her his life. It all belonged to her and no one else

As Chloe leaned back into Leo's embrace, she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled over her. The revelation of her ex-boyfriend being Leo's brother had thrown her off balance, and she struggled to make sense of the conflicting emotions swirling inside her.

"I'm fine, Leo," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's just been a lot to take in tonight."

Leo tightened his grip around her, his touch offering her a sense of comfort and stability. "I understand, Chloe. I'm here for you, no matter what. We'll figure this out together."

She turned to face him, searching his eyes for reassurance. In that moment, she was reminded of the unwavering support and love Leo had always shown her, even in the face of unexpected challenges.

"Thank you, Leo," she said, mustering a small smile. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Leo brushed a strand of hair away from her face, his gaze filled with tenderness. "You'll never have to find out. I'll always be by your side."

As they stood together in the grandeur of the old mansion, Chloe felt a glimmer of hope amidst the turmoil. With Leo's unwavering support, she knew they could navigate the complexities of the situation. But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that there were still unanswered questions and secrets waiting to be unraveled.

She wantted so much to open up to Leo and tell him all about her and Ryan but something deep inside prevented her. Each word she wanted to utter was blocked. Leo knittd his eyes from behind her but quickly changed his facial expression. He sensed whatever was weighing down on her was huge and she found it difficult to discuss with him. He was going to to give her time

He knew how tired she mustve been from their travel to the party and also all the standing. And here she was standing in the midlle of the room in his arms on heels. He slowly lifted her gaining a suprise sound from Chloe and she held him tightly. He placed her at the edge ofthe bed as he slowly remove the heels from her feet. There was a slight red mark at the corner of her small toe.

Lovingly, Leo stroke it and walked into the bathroom. He took off the coat, shoes and wore slippers . He opened the buttons of his shirt one by one revealing a beautifully toned body to his wife. she was looking at him with so much love as she took in his every action. He switched on the hot water into the tub. He didnt entirely remove his shirt but his chest was exposed. There was a knock at the door. He didnt look suprised at all and walked out of the room to open the door. He walked to the door just as sexy as he was in front of his wife.

At the door stood a young beautiful maid holding a huge box as well as other shopping bags

" Sir... I..." She begun to talk but stummered looking at his chest. Her face was all red. she blushed as words escaped from her mouth. If there was something that irritated Leo was someone looking at him with those eyes. He was loosing his cool as his facial expression turned frosty

" What are you lookin at?" He startled the confused girl as she tried to regain her composure, " Did you get everything I asked for?" she responded very fast and scared

" Yes sir... I " She wanted to say more but the door was slammed on her face.

At the end of the corrider, a man stood there taking in all that transpired. He clenched his fist and walked to the next room

Leo walked back into the room holding the huge box. He went to the bed and opened it. Inside was a pair of red nightie plus a beautiful dress. Chloe wondered when he ordered the dress and what was up with the sexy nightie. Looking at all the missing parts, Chloe blushed and looked at him

" Was this the only night wear you could find?" Looking at her confused husband, she held the red showy night dress to her husband. He looked suprised and confused at the same time. He indeed ordered a sexy night wear but not this exposed. But he liked it anyway

His facial expression changed from confused to amused with a mixture of an evil grin. His expression showed he could eat her alive
