The flight took about eight to nine hours, and during those hours, Emma and I never stopped having a pleasant conversation, ranging from her personal life to her career.

“I would like to help you start up your career here. Please don't say no to my proposals. That's the only way I can make up for all the pain I caused you in the past,” she asserted, giving me a pleading look I couldn’t resist.
