Where am i?

The scent of disinfectant, the rattling sounds of movement, and the bright light made my head throb as I slowly opened my eyes in pain. I could still feel the ache in my abdomen. I remembered calling out to Evelyn in the room, but after that, I had no idea what happened.

I sensed the tension in the room as my eyes fully opened.
