~FREY GABERIELL AVADONIA POV~

She didn't lie. She just lives nextdoor. But the fact I didn't notice her everytime I go to work made me wonder. But the reality that she was an early bird hit me. Maybe that's why because I go to work late. I was just early that morning and I was surprised to see her in the elevator.

I was shocked when the door opens and she held my hand on her way inside.

I looked around the place. There was a touch of greenery to it even though she has a minimalistic type of furniture. Her place also gives a homey vibe. The smell of strawberries and raspberries surrounding the place makes me want to hang out and relax all day.

I followed her as she went to the kitchen. She grabs something in her fridge and immediately turned on the stove to reheat it.

I placed the boxes at the table and sat on one of the chairs. I just looked at her back.

I knew she would change. She wasn't the sweet and caring girl I once knew five years ago.

The way she talks was authorative and she looks so strict. She has poise when she walks and her stern look made her more intimidating.

Compare to the last time I met her. She was shy, sweet and loving. She wad clingy all the time and I miss the way she showed affection towards me.

Her body also changed. From being a slim long haired girl to Mid length curvy woman. She was a walking Goddess, and an eyecatching sight that everymen will see.

Well that won't happen because I have her in my arms again.

I also noticed the way she talked to me earlier. At first, she was serious and she didn't show any emotion. But, when she let me talk, she became calm. I was also surprised when she called me Mahal and kissed me. It wasn't just once. We even made out at her office.

It got me wondering, is she slowly opening up her heart to me again?

I was just brought back to reality when I heard her speak.

"Food is ready. Can you please grab the plates?" She asks as she placed the cooked food in the table.

I nodded and went to the cabinets. I searched for the plates and successfully found them I grabbed two plates and grabbed two pairs of silverware that was placed next to it.

I placed them on the table. I pulled a chair for her to sit down and she accepted it. I sat beside her and served her food.

We were quietly eating when my phone vibrated. I didn't mind it and kept eating.

I wiped my mouth with a tissue once I was done eating. I looked at my girl who was sitting beside me, still eating her food. I planted small kisses on her shoulder, her neck up to her cheek.

I was longing to embrace her again. And I can't wait.

I noticed she was about to finish so I kept kissing her. I gently took her coat off when she was done. It revealed her plain white sleeves she was wearing. I unbuttoned the first three buttons so I can kiss her skin continously.

I stopped when she held my wrist before looking at me. There wasn't any emotion behind it but I can tell she was irritated.

"What's wrong?" I ask her before planting a kiss on her shoulder.

She just looks at me before standing up and pulling me towards the bedroom.

Once we entered, she locks the door before looking at me.

I just want to embrace her and be clingy. I just hope she wouldn't slap me right now.

"Do you want to do it?" She asks me as she unbuttons her sleeve.

Those six words shocked me but I didn't show it. I walked up to her and hel her hand. Those hands were soft.

I kissed the top of her hands before planting a kiss on her lips. I quickly parted to answer her question earlier.

"I don't... I don't want to. I just want to be clingy that's all." I answer her before pulling her to my embrace.

I hugged and kissed the top of her head. I felt her hugging me back.

"I want to sleep with you Mahal... Can you stay by my side for the night?" She asks as I embrace her.

I heaved a sigh. sleeping here for the night won't hurt. Right?

"Yeah I'll stay... I'll always stay by your side..." I mumbled before kissing the top of her head.

I was already happy to have her back but now, I'm more than happy to be by her side for the night. It gives me so much joy to kiss her freely, hug her, sleep with her and wake up beside her. My wish had come true and I'm overjoyed.

I unbuttoned my sleeves as I waited for her to come out of the shower. I took it off and unbuckled my pants to reveal my boxer shorts.

I put them in the couch near the bed and layed down on the comfy matress. I covered myself with a blanket as I wait for her to come out.

I grabbed my phone as it rests on the bedside table. I turned it on and a message from Eros popped up.

Eros: bro, where are you? Your girlfriend is waiting at the living room.

I read it and was puzzled. Girlfriend?

It took me a minute to reply.

Frey: What are you talking about?

It dinged again and I saw his reply.

Eros: bro I asked her. Her name is Noir. She's been waiting for you to come home.

I rubbed my forehead in irritation. Damn that whore. She fucking introduced herself as my girlfriend.

Frey: That ain't my girl. I'm with Mahal and tell her to leave.

Eros: Mahal? You mean Euphrasia? You got back with her?

Frey: Yeah so tell her to leave now.

I turned my phone off and placed it again on the bedside table. I smiled when I saw her wearing the oversized shirt I gave five years ago.

It still looks good on her. I noticed she already blow dry her hair so I patted the empty space of the mattress.

I noticed she was only in her lingerie when she climbed up the bed. She removed the blanket on me and I let her sit on top of me.
