Chapter 2

~(EUPHRASIA VYXANNA POV)~

It was lunchtime.

After the kiss, he hugged me so tight and promised to never let me go again. Well, I didn't believe it at first because he already did the first time he promised.

I was at the cafeteria when my boss walked up to me and handed a letter.

I looked up to him and saw his brown eyes staring back to my gray ones.

I took the letter from him and he immediately left. I placed the letter inside my handbag and kept eating.

I didn't mind the chatter and laughter that was surrounding me. I finished my food and went back up to my office.

I was currently signing some other documents inside my office when I heard a knock on the door. I didn't mind it and just heard it being opened.

I looked up to see him. Smiling widely while having two boxes of somewhat look like brownies. I gestured the couch for him to sit.

I looked back at the work I was doing. A few more hours passed before I finished signing them. I put them all back in the folders before paying attention to the man who was sitting comfortably in the couch.

I looked at him calmly before looking at the wall clock. It was 6:00 in the evening. I look back at him before making my way to his direction.

I sat beside him. I let him wrap his arms on my waist as I open one of the boxes he has a while ago.

And I was right. He bought my favorite. I took a piece and bit it. I offered him to eat but he refused.

"Come on just once Mahal." I stated as I convince him to try.

I wasn't used to calling him Mahal... But I was trying to.

He sighed and opened his mouth. I let him bite the brownie I was holding.

He looks so cute. I just looked at him, remembering every facial feature he has. He seems bothered as I saw his brows furrowing before looking at me.

His eyes were sparkling. I saw love in those light grey eyes he has. Not to mention he looks so fine with his shaved face. Perfect eyebrows, thick curly eyelashes, red perfect lips, and a perfect pointed nose.

I brush my nose against his. I heard him giggling at my sudden move. I was near to kissing him as I feel his breath fanning my face when we both heard a knock at the door. I groaned and stood up. Opening the door whoever was behind it.

I rose an eyebrow as I stare at one of my colleagues. She handed me a folder before I heard her speak.

"Ms. VP, Boss would like you to sign that folder. He said I would hand it to you before you would leave." she proclaims as she bows her head.

I hummed and nodded to her before closing the door.

I made my way to the desk before grabbing my handbag. I decided to leave the laptop inside my office since I don't have any templates to design and it was Friday. So maybe I have time to rest by tommorow.

I turned my gaze to my man. I walked up to him and sat beside him again.

"You're leaving?" He asks me as I feel his rough hands caressing my face.

I nodded before I felt him kissing my forehead. My eyes automatically closed when I felt his lips. He kissed the tip of my nose before making his way to my lips. He pressed them against mine.

Those were... soft and I have to admit, I missed the way he kissed me.

I kissed him back as I felt his hand on my chin to deepen our kiss. He bit my bottom lip gently and I opened my mouth for him to access.

I felt his tongue interacting with mine as he explored every corner of my mouth. I moaned when he sucked my tongue and kissed me again.

We were catching our breaths when he parted. Lust and love lingering in his eyes. I shook my head as I knew where this is going. He nodded slightly as I saw a bit of disappointment in those orbs.

We both stood up as he lifted the two boxes of sweets. I let him hold my hand as we made our way out.

I gripped the folder tightly as we enter the elevator. Him pressing the ground level.

As he opens the passenger door of his bugatti, I quietly entered inside. He closes the door and I saw him making his way to the driver's side. He got in and started the engine.

I let him hold my hand again as we drove off. We were quiet and none of us mimicking a word. Not until he broke the silence that was surrounding us.

"Do you still live at your old condo?" He asks me as I saw him at the corner of my eye, glancing at my direction.

I shook my head before looking at him. He was busy looking at the road.

"I live near you." I plainly said before I felt the car came to a hault.

I look back at the road as I saw the red light. I look back at him and paid attention to what his reaction will be.

I saw his brows furrow before his attention got me.

"Can you repeat what you said earlier?" He asks again, making sure if what he heard was correct.

"I said I live near you." I repeat before I felt him kiss me again.

I just let him feel my lips again. It was only a matter of seconds before he parted. His face flushed at my sudden statement earlier.

The car started again. I saw him taking a left which is the way to the condo building I was staying.

The car came to a hault and he got out. He opened the door for me and I let myself out.

He wrapped his arms on my waist as we enter the condo and headed towards the elevator.
