Chapter 2

I toss and turn, thinking about how his piercing eyes were staring at me that night.

Why am I still thinking about him? It had been almost two weeks and my interview was the next morning. I'm supposed to be asleep now so I won't be late for my interview.

I remembered how he kissed me with so much control and how it felt so good, I kept thinking about him till i drifted off.

My alarm wakes me up from sleep at exactly 5:30am  and I begin to prepare for my interview. I pick a very nice and classy gown and set it on the bed with my matching underwear. I take my shower, get dressed and pick an apple from the kitchen on my way out.

I get to Rodriguez Enterprise at 6:50 am so i have about. I walk into the building and meet a lady at the reception. She was on a call so I had to wait for her to finish.

"Hello" The lady said

"Hello my name is Eulalia , I am here for the interview."

"Okay, the interview is on the 16th floor, when you get there you'll see others waiting and good luck " the lady said smiling at me

"Thank you" I say walking towards the elevator. The elevator was quite full when I got in, people got out and it just remained her and a few others that got to the 16th floor. I sat down like the others and waited on my turn.

"Eulalia, you're next" a lady on a bright blue dress says, I stand up and straighten out my dress, walked to the front of the door and knocked.

"Come in" A deep husky voice said from the other side of the door.

I open the door and walk in, I see a man sitting behind the desk with his head bent downward.

"Good morning sir," I say and the man raises his head and immediately he looks at me I get caught in those eyes, the same eyes that kept me awake for some nights, the same eyes that i can't stop thinking about.

"Sit" he says sternly with a straight face.

I'm in deep shit, there's no way i'm getting this job, he must think i'm a slut, my subconscious screams at me.

I look up and catch him watching me and i quickly look down.

"Why should i give you this job? he asked

Constantine couldn't believe that his little angel walked in here, looking for a job at his company. He has been looking for her but it was a little difficult because he didn't know her full name.

"Well, i'm very efficient, smart, hardworking, punctual and I know i'm capable of handling this job, I promise to work hard and not disappoint you sir," I say with confidence.

"From your CV it's says that you graduated with First class honors in Accounting, so why  go for this job?" he asks still looking so sternly without any hint of emotion.

" I have not been able to get any job, so I need to work so i'll be able to sort my bills" I tell him still not looking at him in the eye.

" That's enough, you can leave now" he says quietly

" Umm.. Sir did i get the job?" i try asking

"Leave" he says a little too loudly. I hurriedly walk out of the door.

I get home and meet Mandy.

"You got the job?" she asks excitedly jumping up and down with her eyes open waiting for her answers.

"No, i have to start looking for another job" i say tiredly

I walk into my room, fall on my bed and sleep off.

It's been three days since after my interview and i've been searching for a job everywhere and i've not been able to find anyone. As i lounge on my bed, my phone starts ringing and I see it's an unknown number.

"Hello Eulalia on the line, please who am i speaking with?" i say calmly thinking about who could be possibly calling me.

"Hey, I'm the receptionist from Rodriguez Enterprise and i'm calling to tell you that you got the job and you are to start work on Monday 8am sharp" she said. To say I was shocked was an understatement but I still had the ecstatic feeling because finally I had a job and I can now sort all my bills and also not be scared of being evicted from my house.

"Thank you, thank you so much i'll be there" I said excitedly.

"Mandy, Mandy" I scream and she rushed into my room. "I got the job, I got the job the one at Rodriguez Enterprise" I tell her jumping on my bed.

"Ayyy" Mandy shouts excitedly and tells me to dress up that we have to go shopping for new dresses and i figures that since i'd gotten the job a little shopping wouldn't hurt and besides I had to look very good and give a good first impression on  Monday.

We dressed up and  went to the mall bought skincare products, bought lingerie , bought a few dresses, shoes, straightened my hair and cut it a little, did my nails.

Oh my God I look so hot

I felt so good about my new look and I couldn't wait for the next day to show off.

Mandy and I decided to stop at Peter's house for her to pick up something she left there before we go home.  We get to Peter's door and knock for a while but he doesn't answer so Mandy uses her spare key.

"This place is a mess" Mandy says and I look and see that there are clothes scattered everywhere, we walk towards the hallway and we hear moaning from upstairs, Mandy rushes upstairs.

"Mandy, Mandy!" I try calling her scared of what she'll see upstairs. I hear a scream and i rush upstairs Mandy was cussing at Peter and throwing stuffs. Peter and an unknown girl were on his bed naked.

I drag Mandy out of there and into her car, she was sobbing uncontrollably. Mandy was in no condition to drive the car so we had to manage my wack driving.

"Mandy, you deserve better stop shedding tears for that douchebag, he is not worth it" I console her as we lay on her bed with her still crying. She dozed off after so many hours of crying, i kept water and pain relief on her side table because I was sure she'll need them in the morning after crying for so long.

I was going to have a long day tomorrow so I left for my room, immediately I laid on my bed i slept off.
