Two

Even before we went to Australia my grandparents talked to me I remember what we talked about.

I was packing when I was carrying things into my room when I heard footsteps I smelled the perfume and I recognized it.

"Grandpa and grandma? Why?" I asked when I turned around from the door I saw my grandmother still holding my chest.

"Oh my gosh...I'm still not used to your ability even though I took care of you," they said to me. I stopped shuffling and laughed.

"You are a child!" my grandfather scolded me and I just hugged them-they have been my parents since my mother gave birth to me.

They did not hide from me everything that happened in Mom's life and I am happy that they are my grandparents.

"Grandma?" I asked my grandmother worriedly.

She held my hand and I just stared at them. Did something bad happen?

"We're not used to not having you, granddaughter for a few months we've been used to you always coming home to our house and we'll eat together." my grandfather said to my grandmother and I was silent at what they said.

"I'll also come back, 'I'll take you to Australia when I get my own place there and save money. I don't want to stay here because people are toxic." I confess to my grandparents they turned their attention to me.

"We don't have to leave-" I interrupted what they were going to say.

"I prefer that we live completely, only in Australia I will get your visa when my stay there is stable," I replied to the two of them, they are just my family.

I just breathed when they tightened the grip on my hand.

"AA..." they called me I looked at them both.

"I don't want you to disappear from my life either, so even if you don't want to come with me when I find a good place to live in Australia right now you will be left in the care of my godfather I am more confident that he will be with us, when I am not there." I seriously told my grandparents I saw the sadness on their faces.

I was surprised when they hugged me at the same time we almost fell on the bed well it didn't happen but they would both be crippled.

"Are you really going to find your father in Australia?" my grandfather asked me as they looked back at me.

"Yes, grandpa and grandma, I will look for him and I want to meet him..." I confessed to them and I fell silent.

"Will you tell him you're his daughter?" my grandfather asked me I just shook my head.

"No, grandpa, because I don't think he knows anything about me." I just ejaculated because if he knew he should be here to meet me.

They did not speak because the three of us knew that he couldn't know that he had left a child in the Philippines.

"That's right, granddaughter he doesn't know anything about you. We've already told you about it." grandfather mentioned to us.

"What do you plan to do when you meet?" my grandmother asked me it is impossible for my daddy to still look young because he is human and not like me.

I immediately shook them before I spoke and I breathed.

"I also don't know, grandpa because I'm sure he looks different this past year compared to me it hasn't changed for me, I and my mother are carbon copy our faces," I just told them.

"Will you stop studying?" grandma asked me when she looked after me.

"Yes, it's because it's hard to combine the two that are important to me. My work in Australia is very serious compared to here in the Philippines." I'll just admit to the two of them.

My grandfather touched my face causing me to look at him.

"AA, when you're there don't forget us." my grandfather said to me and I suddenly cried at what he said.

"Oh, grandpa..every time I have time I'll contact you or when I'm off I'll call I won't forget, just don't forget to take medicine either, I'll remind you and grandma on your cellphone and I'll order it to the godfather," I said.

"Don't bother him anymore, granddaughter." my grandfather told me I stared at her.

I can read minds and speed in fighting our enemies. I'm just an ordinary vampire with human blood, it's good that my daddy's blood is flowing to me but, I got my mother's vampire face and everything.

I look like 20 years old in the eyes of people but, I am even older than the oldest in the world.

Those like us are no longer hiding in the world of people living in the Philippines. We have mixed with the human population around the world, only a few are hiding and afraid to interact with people.

"When will Eireen go to the airport?" grandma asked me.

"Later in the morning, grandma, so the godfather will pick us up today for him. You'll live first. I'm more confident with him. You'll live alone." I exclaimed to my grandparents, they were just shaking me.

"So by the way, you packed us?" my grandfather asked me and I was hit on the head.

“Yeah, grandpa...peace yow!!!" I laughed and told my grandparents they beat me in the leg.

With them, I experienced having a parent because my parents were no longer with me.

I heard footsteps so I said goodbye to my grandparents first and left my room.

"It's me, hija!" voice call I was waiting for to arrive.

"Godfather Harold!" I called and I immediately opened the door and my godfather, who had become my second father, opened in front of me.

"There's more!" call someone I also didn’t expect to see.

"Uncle Drake!" smile I call the one behind Godfather Harold.

"Hey, Amire you're not me, uncle we're the same age." Uncle Drake said simply known Drake.

“I’ll get used to it, too,” I said.

"I should especially leave the Philippines with you," he told me.

"Isn't it, you still have a mission?" I asked and offered them to enter the house.

“After our mission in Australia I went straight to the main building where we worked,” he replied and greeted my grandparents who greeted them with a smile.

I slapped them on the shoulder because they looked fresh or virgin and smelled like my grandparents' blood so the smell was fragrant for them.

“Don’t move—don’t,” I whispered to them.

"We're just here, grandson then make us Harold's food." my grandfather told us.

"You smell good to me, Orpheus but as AA's grandparents and my friend's parent I won't be able to hurt you." my godfather replied to my grandparents that they hadn't spoken yet and my grandmother offered them to drink the animal's blood.

We sat on the sofa with my grandparents and talked about leaving the house.

"We'll take you to the airport," my grandfather mentioned to me as I looked at him.

"Don't, E and I are leaving Baguio, godfather Harold will take us to the airport," I told my grandfather when I spoke.

"I'm coming because now my partner and I are leaving for another country," Drake replied to all of us and I just kept quiet.

Weirdly, he always looks at me so I have to avoid him, I know that he liked my mother before, and I hope he doesn't even flirt with me. I don't have time to look for a man for my life.

Drake and godfather Harold carried our belongings with my grandparents in the car before we boarded and left our house. My godfather Harold has a house in Manila so he will take my grandparents there and he will also move when he goes to the hospital.

When we arrived we caught up with E who was standing outside godfather Harold's house.

"During the time I slept here, the guards approached me, they thought I was a thief. I said I thought I was living here," she opened up to us and waved to my grandparents when she saw me.

"You didn't even say you would come here first," Godfather Harold replied to my friend after unloading the suitcases.

"Because I'm near Quezon City and I finished a mission before I went here than in Baguio. I came home here and I'll go straight," she said to my godfather Harold.

It's not obvious but they used to team up with my mother and now she came to me and we became a team in the modern world.

"Let's go in first, guys we're already looking at my neighbor." Godfather Harold replied.

They carried our suitcases inside the house I was in the middle when my grandparents helped me on the walk.

Godfather Harold pointed out what my grandparents' room would be. I found out that he sealed the whole room so that I wouldn't smell other wild vampires roaming around Manila.

I said goodbye to my friend just to take a shower before we left the house to go to the airport.

"Don't you ever forget to contact us, AA." my grandmother said and I nodded immediately.

"Yes, grandma," I said quickly to the two of them.

I let my grandparents rest in their room before going to the airport.

"Be careful there, ugly!" Drake instructed E when we were in the departure area.

"I'm not ugly!! Fuck you!" she swears and I kicked my friend when I felt the look of them.

"You've already stopped." I rebuke them.

"Bye," Drake said to us and even stared at it as my friend.

"That's really annoying, bye, Harold!!" she shouted at my godfather when he turned to us.

It just waved at us before getting into his car. We put our suitcases in the cart before walking into the courtyard.

"Only now can I leave the country again," he told me, shaking my head.

It's old but if I act even more, I'll just sigh deeply.

Maybe we would be like this if she lived but it is also impossible for something like us to happen every time we get pregnant. We have to sacrifice our lives so that our future offspring can live.

I even want to have my own child but, I don't want my child to grow up without a known mother.
