Chapter 6

RAVEN'S POV

I turned back with an awkward smile on my face . Aiden was just standing there , folding his arms . staring at me with questioning eyes . What does he even want ?

"So uhm..." I couldn't gather anything to say . I don't even know what to do in these kinds of situations . This is really awkward .

"Miss.Walker , you got a sharp tongue . I think you might don't want to have this job . " he said, placing files on his desk .

I bit my lower lip in frustration and agony . What the hell did he expect then ? just blabber whatever comes to his mouth and go away with it ? Am I a joke or something ?

"You were furious a minute ago and so quite . interesting ." he said smirking , standing against his desk .

Not gonna lie but damn dude he looks great . a clear depiction of greek god as the light falls on him . I bet he has been with a lot of girls . Maybe he still has a girlfriend but it doesn't concern me . as long as I'm the one who he would take home .

"Miss.Walker , have you taken in enough of the view?" he asked , coming closer slowly .

The hell is he doing ? I took steps backward . as he slowly approaches me .

Finally my kneepits touched the armrest of sofa . he leaned closer to my face with the same smirk on his stupid handsome face .

"You emulate her too much , how?" he whispered , his eyes roaming at my face .

I gave him a confused look . What is he talking about ?I: What ? who?

" uhh Mr.Matthew ...i don't quite get it ." I stuttered. The hell am I doing ? i should just kick his fucking balls . Why can't I do anything ?

"Shh..." he kept his finger on my mouth . I looked at him shocked . He just kept staring into my eyes . as if he was trying to find something .

Just as I was about to move myself . I fell backwards . hurriedly i tried to grab something . But guess what? Only the collar of his shirt was there to grab . kill me god !

Aiden fell on me . his lips on mine . The warmth was something strange and weird but it didn't feel wrong . I was quite shocked by the accident but deep inside I wanted time to stop . hell i don't know why ? I just want to.

Quickly Aiden pulled away his lips from mine . started staring into my eyes . there wasn't even a glimpse of regret in his eyes . That means he wanted to kiss me .

The hell is happening ? How could I let someone kiss me just like that ? Why didn't I punch him ?

"Aiden this contract....oh my god! I'm so sorry . I'll leave . please continue" Christian covered his eyes turning into another direction .

This is really embarrassing . Should I just kill both of them? I realised Aiden was still on the top of me . He wasn't even moving . Is he for real ?

"Get off me !" I whispered, giving him an angry look .

He got off quickly . fixing his shirt and hair . I got up and fixed my skirt . My cheeks were burning from embarrassment , I could feel it .

"This is not what it looks like , idiot . come back here ." Aiden said to Christian ,shoving his hands in his pockets .

"If you say so" he sarcastically winked at me .

What the fuck ? I'm gonna kill both of them .

"Leave this file to me and show Miss.Walker around ." Aiden asked him . but the question is why ?

Just a minute ago he didn't want any girl to be his assistant. Now he wants me to do it . Why because we kissed ?

"Why now?" I asked without any hesitation .

"Sorry?" Aiden said, looking at me with a questioning face .

"You didn't want me here just five minutes ago , what now?" I asked with an attitude .

"Uh i was just trying to make it up to you ." he said . I could see the nervousness in his way of stating .

"So I was right . instead of saying you are sorry about what you just did . you want to give the job . What a great strategy to shut people's mouths with your goddamn money , isn't it ?" I asked getting close to me .

What does he take me for ? do i look stupid ?

"Uh.. Miss.Walker , you can't do this . uhm .." he stepped back , gulping hard .

"Mr.Matthew, you have no idea of what I can do ?" I smirked knowing he is just a kid inside pretending to be cool and strong .

Ok maybe i will forget him after this . He seems cute when nervous though . I placed both of my hands on the desk behind him . trapping him inside just like what he did a minute ago .

This feels like me , but still why my heart is thumping so hard .
