Kamrynn's POV

The sound sliced through the air, silencing the room. All eyes turned to me, wide with shock and confusion.

I stumbled into the Hall, my legs threatening to give out, but I forced myself to stand tall.

“Kamrynn?” Rmonica’s voice broke the silence, a mix of relief and alarm. She started to rise, but Alpha Orion placed a hand on her arm, holding her back.

“This marriage can't happen! Shouldn't happen. If it does, this Pack is doomed!” I warned, trying to catch my breath.

Kyven’s face twisted with anger. “What are you doing here?! Where's the necklace you stole?”

Ignoring him, I pointed directly at Alpha Draven, my voice trembling but firm. “This man is a liar and a monster! He’s planning to use this ceremony to destroy your family!”

Gasps rippled through the crowd, the weight of my accusation hanging heavily in the air.

Alpha Draven stood slowly, his movements calm and measured, though his eyes glinted with malice.

“You have some nerve showing up here,” he said, his voice

NOOOOOOOO! Why? Why did it end there? Thankfully Thalia spoke up. And shame on Kyven and Orion. After all she has done for that pack.

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 72

Kamrynn's POV The hall descended into a suffocating silence after Thalia’s stunning declaration. All eyes locked onto her, wide with shock and disbelief.“Kamrynn is telling the truth,” Thalia repeated, her voice trembling but resolute.Kyven stepped closer to her, his face twisted with a mixture of confusion and desperation. “Thalia… what are you saying?” His voice cracked, his usual composure utterly shattered.Draven’s thunderous voice interrupted, sharp as a whip. “Enough!” His tone carried an iron authority, cutting through the mounting whispers. “Thalia, you don’t need to be afraid of Kamrynn. Don’t let her manipulate you into saying things you’ll regret.”Thalia turned to her father, tears streaming down her face, her voice trembling but firm. “I’m not afraid of Kamrynn, Father. I’m afraid of you.”Gasps rippled through the room.Draven stiffened, his expression darkening dangerously. “You don’t know what you’re saying,” he growled, his tone low and menacing.“I know exactly wh

Kamrynn's POV The room was eerily silent, the only sound the faint tinkle of glass settling amidst the shattered remnants of the chandelier. The scene before us was one of utter devastation, but the silence didn’t last long."Father! No!" Thalia's anguished scream pierced the stillness, shattering it into pieces. Her voice was raw, trembling with heartbreak, and it echoed off the walls of the grand hall like a haunting refrain.I turned, just in time to see her darting forward, her movements frantic and unsteady. She collapsed to her knees beside Draven's mangled body, her sobs breaking through in loud, wrenching cries. She clutched at what was left of him, her delicate hands trembling as she pressed them against his bloodied chest."Why? Why did it have to end like this?" she wailed, her voice filled with a sorrow so profound that I felt it in my bones.A wave of pity swelled within me, catching me off guard. Despite everything Draven had done, despite the terror he had brought upon

Kamrynn's POV The moment Thalia returned with the key to the Ostracylle, hope flickered to life within me. She stepped forward, her hands trembling as she inserted the small key into the lock. With a soft click, the cursed collar unlatched, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, I felt its oppressive weight leave my body. Then it happened.Power surged through me like a tidal wave, crashing against every nerve ending and filling me with a warmth that was both foreign and familiar. Aryna. My wolf. She was back. The bond we shared roared to life with an intensity that left me breathless.“Kamrynn!” Aryna’s voice echoed in my mind, full of excitement and relief. “I’m here! Oh, how I’ve missed you!”“I’ve missed you too,” I whispered aloud, tears streaming down my cheeks. My senses sharpened instantly. I could hear the faint rustle of fabric as the gathered crowd shifted uneasily, smell the mix of emotions in the room—fear, doubt, disbelief—and see every detail with crysta

Kamrynn's POVI took a step forward, my legs trembling under the weight of what I was about to propose. The room seemed to grow heavier, the air thick with anticipation. Every eye was on me, and I could feel the burden of their expectations pressing against my chest. But I had no other choice. If I didn’t try, I would never forgive myself.“I can break the curse,” I repeated firmly, though the words felt strange coming out of my mouth. The silence that followed was deafening. Alpha Orion’s brows furrowed deeply, his skepticism apparent in the way his arms crossed over his chest. His eyes narrowed, and his voice was sharp.“How exactly do you plan to do that, Kamrynn?” he demanded. “You can’t just say something like that without proof. This is no ordinary curse.”I swallowed hard, feeling the intensity of his doubt like a

Kamrynn's POV“Sherelle?” My voice trembled, hope and disbelief warring within me.“Kamrynn, it’s me! Please, come this way!”I turned toward the sound, my breath catching. I had longed to hear her voice again for so long. Our memories came flooding back to me all at once. Without thinking, I took a step forward, my eyes scanning the thick fog that hung like a veil in the distance.“Sherelle, where are you?” I called back, desperation lacing my words. Her voice came again, stronger now. “I’m here! Hurry!”I broke into a run, the fog growing thicker with every step. The world around me became obscured, the faint outline of the ground beneath my feet the only thing I could see. My heart raced, torn between elation and unease. Something wasn’t right, but hearing her voice—my sister&rsq

Kamrynn's POVI took a hesitant step forward, my voice trembling but firm. “Why can’t you just lift the curse?” I asked, my tone pleading but edged with frustration. “Cursing an entire bloodline… it’s not fair. Innocent people have suffered for centuries because of one man’s mistake. Two people who genuinely love each other are being torn apart because of this. How can you justify that?”The sorceress’s glowing eyes snapped to mine, her chained figure emanating a cold fury that made my blood run cold. She tilted her head, her gaze cutting through me like a blade. “Fair?” she hissed, her voice low and sharp, filled with centuries of bitterness. “Do not speak to me of fairness, child. You know nothing of what you speak. Nothing of the pain I endured. You have no right to lecture me.”Her words struck me like a slap, but I couldn’t back down. I swallowed hard and straightened my spine, even as her intense glare made my knees feel weak. “I know enough,” I replied, my voice trembling but re

Kamrynn's POV Her misery was pungent as she wept for her fallen loved ones, the weight of Xoria’s suffering pressing down on me like an unbearable burden. My hands clenched, my nails digging into my palms as the mirror continued to replay her torment. The mirror shifted again, and the dim glow of a chamber appeared. My stomach tightened as I saw Xoria being dragged into the room by one of Corvis’s guards. She struggled against the man’s grip, her defiance palpable despite the fear etched on her face.“Let me go!” she screamed, her voice echoing off the cold stone walls. The guard hesitated, glancing back at the large bed in the center of the room. Corvis sat there, his eyes dark with intention.“Leave her,” Corvis commanded, his tone sharp and final. The guard released her, giving her a brief, apologetic look before retreating from the room and shutting the heavy door behind him.Xoria’s chest heaved with anger as she turned to face Corvis. “What do you want from me now?” she demande

Kamrynn's POV The cavern seemed to grow colder as Xoria’s words echoed in my mind. I stood frozen for a moment, torn between despair and determination. The sorceress had every reason to be bitter, but as I recalled the pain in Kyven’s and Thalia’s eyes—their love trembling under the weight of a curse they didn’t deserve—I knew I couldn’t leave without trying harder.I squared my shoulders and met Xoria’s glowing green eyes. “You’re right,” I said, my voice firm. “The things Corvis did to you were despicable, and nothing can ever make up for it. But Kyven and Thalia are innocent. They’re just two people in love, caught in the crossfire of a crime they didn’t commit.”Xoria’s expression remained cold, unmoving. “Innocent or not, Thalia bears his filthy blood. She carries his sins. Why should I let her or anyone else from that family find peace when I never can?”Her bitterness was palpable, but I forced myself to stand firm. “Because this needs to end,” I countered. “Corvis’s generatio

Lysaa's POV A little while later, after we dropped the kids off with Kamrynn (and made sure she knew where we kept the fire extinguishers), Lorien led me outside to the open field behind our home.“Are we walking somewhere?” I asked, curious.“Not exactly,” he said, flashing me a grin. Before I could ask what he meant, he began to shift.Even after all these months, watching Lorien transform into his dragon form was something I never got tired of. One moment, he was standing in front of me, tall and handsome and completely at ease. The next, his body began to change—his skin darkening to a deep crimson as his limbs elongated, his wings unfurling from his back with a soft, leathery rustle. His tail whipped out behind him, and his eyes glowed like molten lava as he completed the shift, towering above me in all his dragon glory.I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding.“Show-off,” I teased, but my voice was a little breathless.Lorien lowered his massive head until it was lev

Lysaa's POV No one tells you how hard it is to raise dragon hybrids. Not that there’s a manual for it, anyway. But even if there were, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have covered what it felt like to lay five eggs, the agonizing weeks of incubation, and the terrifying wait to see if they’d all hatch safely.I remember every second of it.The clutch arrived just a month after Lorien and I had our mating ceremony. I wasn’t expecting it to happen so fast, and definitely not expecting it to be so… intense. But dragons don’t follow the same rules as wolves. Everything about them—about us—is more. More powerful. More primal. More overwhelming. When the pregnancy first started, I thought it would be like any normal werewolf pregnancy. But then the cravings kicked in. Not the usual stuff like pickles and ice cream. No, I wanted things like rare venison and obsidian crystals, which Lorien had to fly halfway across the continent to find. And the dreams—visions, really—of fire and wings and ancien

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha   Side Story 1

Kamrynn's POV Seven months had passed since the mating and Luna ceremonies, and life in the Obsidian Pack had transformed in ways I could hardly have imagined. What once had been a struggling, cursed pack with a heavy heart and dark future was now thriving in every possible way.Under Calvin’s leadership—and with a bit of my guidance—the Obsidian Pack had risen to heights we hadn’t dared to dream of. Our lands prospered, businesses flourished, and, perhaps most heartening of all, the pack members had regained hope.Just as I had foreseen, our success hadn’t gone unnoticed. Gifts and tributes arrived regularly from other packs seeking alliances, though Calvin, ever cautious, was selective about who we partnered with. Trust wasn’t something he gave lightly, especially after everything the Obsidian Pack had endured. But there was one alliance we cherished above all others—the Blue Bell Pack. They had become more than allies; they were family. Alpha Orion, Luna Rmonica, even Kyven and Th

  • Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha   Chapter 180

Kamrynn's POV The crowd erupted in applause and cheers, but all I could hear was Calvin’s heartbeat, pounding in time with mine.As Calvin and I stepped back, my pulse still racing from the intensity of the bond locking into place, Franklin turned to Lorien and Lysaa.“Lorien and Lysaa, please step forward,” he said, his voice steady.Lorien took Lysaa’s hand, guiding her toward the fire. I watched them closely, my heart swelling with happiness for my friend. Lysaa looked breathtaking, her silver gown shimmering in the firelight, and there was a serene confidence in her expression that hadn’t been there before.Lorien, with his long red braid and striking crimson eyes, looked every bit the regal, powerful Draconian prince. But the way he looked at Lysaa—like she was the only thing in the universe that mattered—softened his sharp, otherworldly features. They began their rounds around the fire, each saying their vows and after that, they marked each other, just like we had done. They we

Kamrynn's POV The heat of the bonfire warmed my skin as Calvin and I stepped closer to it, our hands still clasped together. The flames crackled and leapt, casting golden light over the room, but all I could focus on was him.His green eyes were fixed on me with an intensity that made my breath catch. It was like he could see straight into my soul, and in that moment, I felt completely and utterly his.Franklin’s voice broke through the haze, calm and steady. “In the presence of Selene, the Moon Goddess, we bear witness to the union of Alpha Calvin and Kamrynn, his fated mate. As they walk around the sacred fire, they will make their vows to one another, pledging their love, loyalty, and devotion for all eternity.”Calvin gave me a gentle squeeze, silently asking if I was ready. I nodded, my heart swelling with love and determination. He led me forward, and together, we began our first round around the fire. With each step, the weight of what we were doing settled deeper into my chest

Kamrynn’s POVThe day had finally arrived. The day I would become Calvin’s mate and the Luna of the Obsidian Pack. The excitement and nervous energy buzzed under my skin as Amara helped me into my dress, her gentle hands smoothing down the delicate fabric as she adjusted it on my frame.“You’re going to steal the spotlight, Kamrynn,” Amara teased with a grin, stepping back to admire her work.I glanced at my reflection in the mirror and felt my breath catch in my throat. The dress was stunning—a pristine white gown that hugged my figure perfectly, flowing down in soft, elegant waves. Amara had kept my makeup light, just enough to enhance my features, and the way my sky-blue eyes stood out against the subtle shimmer made me feel… beautiful.“Wow,” I whispered, still in awe.“You look like an angel,” Amara said, beaming with pride. “Calvin’s not going to know what hit him.”Across the room, Marlana sat with the twins in her lap. Arabella was dressed in a frilly lavender dress, while Asto

Lysaa's POVI whimpered, my body trembling as the eggs continued to fill me. I could feel my belly stretching slightly, a gentle pressure building as my womb accommodated the growing clutch, but it wasn't uncomfortable. If anything, it’s the opposite. The tingling warmth intensified with each pulse, and soon, I was moaning helplessly, lost in the strange, overwhelming pleasure of being filled.“Lorien… it feels… it feels so good…” I panted, my head spinning. He growled softly, his claws grazing my skin in a possessive, almost reverent touch. “That’s my girl,” he whispered. “You’re made for this, love. Made to carry our clutch.”His words made my heart flutter, and I felt tears prick the corners of my eyes. This moment was so intimate, so intense, and I could feel the love and devotion radiating from him through our bond. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the last egg settled inside me, and Lorien let out a deep, satisfied sigh. His ovipositor pulsed one last time, and then he

Lysaa's POV His thumb brushed over my clit, a featherlight touch that sent sparks shooting through my body. My breath hitched, and I knew I was already close.“You’re going to come already, aren’t you?” His tone was smug, like he knew exactly how easily he could unravel me—and he did.His fingers worked me faster, thrusting deep while his thumb circled my clit, and that was all it took. My orgasm crashed over me, hard and sudden, and I cried out, my body trembling as waves of pleasure pulsed through me.Before I could fully catch my breath, Lorien pulled his fingers out and grasped my waist, his grip firm as he positioned me exactly where he wanted me.I felt the hot, slick head of his ovipositor press against my entrance, and my breath caught in my throat. The ovipositor was larger than his other cock, thicker and textured with bumps that I knew would feel incredible inside me. I shivered at the thought, my body already aching to be filled.“Relax, love,” Lorien murmured, his voice

Lysaa's POV His gaze raked over me, and I felt heat explode everywhere his eyes lingered. It was as if he were touching me with his stare alone, and my heart pounded wildly in my chest.“You’re perfect,” he murmured, his voice rough with awe.He reached behind me, his fingers deftly unhooking my bra, and I let it fall away. With just as much ease, he slid my panties down my legs, baring myself completely to him. For a moment, he just stared, his eyes darkening further as he took in every inch of me.The intensity of his gaze made my cheeks heat up, and I crossed my arms over my chest, feeling suddenly self-conscious. “Stop looking at me like that,” I mumbled, my voice barely above a whisper. “It’s embarrassing.”Lorien’s lips curved into a wicked grin. “Like what?” he teased, leaning in so his breath brushed against my ear. “You’re so beautiful, beloved. It would be a crime not to admire the piece of art that you are. I want to burn every piece of you into my memory. Every last one.”
