Chapter five

The description of of the work says I will start the tomorrow, after reading the description I went up to the kitchen to find if there was little food to last me till that time I would start work I found a little bit of beans.

But before I could do anything else a name ringed into my head, I remembered the name of the criminal that robbed me, I dialed Imma's number and called him.

"Hello", I said when he answered. "Hello, please who is this?", he asked. "Oww this is Temilade Adeyemo, I can to your police station the other time", I explained over the phone. "Ohk, so why are you calling", he asked.

"I just remember the person's name I heard while they robbed me?", I said. "Okay, so what is it?", he asked.

"The name is David", I said. "Okay we will investigate it okay", he replied. "Thanks", I said and cutted the call.

After the call I cook the beans for me to eat in the night for dinner not eating in afternoon because there wasn't enough food for that.

The Beans also was already ready by 6:00 I ate my food and went up to bed to sleep I had that same nightmare.

I wake up I went up to the kitchen to drink water and go outside for fresh air I waited at 7:00 I stood up and said you my house chores as usual.

I got him dressed I was about to look for a bike to go to my new job then I saw Wonuola

Why can't she leave me alone why does she like showing up when I'm around.

We greeted as usual and she asked me where I was off to, I told her I was about to get a job as a cleaner.

"At least that's good for you and you could survive for all this days", she said and laughed.

"Why are you laughing?", I said with anger. "Nothing ooo I though of something funny", she repiled.

"Mcheeew, I do not have time for all this, I have to go before I become late bye I will see you when I come back".

I don't even know why we became friend sef, and Why, all she does to me is make jest of me.

I entered the bike and went to the man's house where I will start my job, I am really excited for the job, I will surely gain money from this.

In the police station;

I finished at my work place and was about to go home, I carried my car key and was about to enter my car when I heard voices inside an uncompleted building.

I sneak into in and placed my ears on the wall to hear what they were planning.

The first guy: "David we have to leave this place, you know the policemen just closed and our hide out is near the police station".

Second guy: "Okay let's leave".

"Hold it there", I said pointing a gun at them.

All of them raise there hands up to avoid trouble, but immediately someone knocked me out.

Temilade's pov;

I arrived at his house and came down from the bike and paid the bike man his money then I walked up to the gate and knocked.

A security man opened the Gate and asked what I was doing there I replied to him,

"I was here to apply for a job as a cleaner", "Ok my boss went out you have to wait inside the house", the gateman said, "Okay no problem I will do just that", I admired house as I was working in wow so beautiful this is a big mansion I entered the house and sat down on his large beautiful chair, his house was decorated with chandelier, I stood up to see a well furnished table looking beautiful, a dining table at the back of the sitting room,

"This sitting room is 2 times bigger than my own sitting room can't believe I'm going to work here", I heard the door and I quickly sat down, "Good morning sir", I greeted, "hello you must be the new cleaner right", "yes I am, I heard you needed a job as a cleaner so I might be the right person for this job", I explained.

"Okay I need to do a quick interview with you", he sat down on the chair in front of me. "Okay first question, have you ever had a job and how old are you?", he asked.

"I didn't, this is my first experience and I am 15 years old", I said. "Wow you are so young what brings you here what of your parents", I looked at him sadly tears drove down for my eye I said, "My mother died he was killed by my father and my father is in the prison right now", "So sorry to hear that, are you ready for this job",

"I think so this will be the best job I could do when my mom is dead, I'm not qualified to any other job because of my age and I need to finish my finish my education so I think this is the best job to get money and finish up my education".

"Oh you're such a brilliant girl all my workers stays in the staff room in my house will you like that or would you like to go to your house and by the way where do you live".

"I live very far away from Here sir", "Well will you like to be sleeping here for some time you can go to your house or go to some of your family members or visit your friend so you can be over in the staff room to avoid stress of going back and forth.

"That will be great sir I really appreciate it thank you for your kindness".

"You're very welcome and by the way my name is Somiteru Oladikupe".

"Okay sir".
