Daniel POV.

I sat at my desk pondering on the excuse Anna had told me about Dennis. Things were looking suspicious to me especially when he spent most of his time with Cass.

"What exactly did you say Cass would be doing this week? And why wasn't I informed about the business trip?, you know I hate it when people lie to me Anna," I said to our secretary who readjusted her glasses remaining adamant to my warning.

"Alpha Dennis business trip was impromptu and it needed to be attended to urgently that is why he didn't bother to inform you about it. However, I know nothing about miss Cass whereabouts but one thing I know for sure is that she wasn't with Alpha Dennis," she accounted and I sighed in defeat. There was no use forcing words out of Anna's mouth she would never spill the bean especially when it involved Dennis.

Sometimes, I do wonder why she served Dennis more than she did with Derrick and I .

"When do you say he will be back?," I asked flipping through the documents
