The faces of Asper’s siblings were now filled with worries when I arrived at their house. And I learned that they saw Asper sleeping on the floor behind the door of her room again.

That is one of the things that she started doing when her parents decided to bring her back here to their ancestral home.

She can’t sleep at night even though all the lights around the house are on. She also can't sleep in her bed, morning or night.

She always sleeps on the floor of her room, beside the door. It was like she was so scared that someone would break into her room again without her noticing it.

She also put her sofa to block the door of her balcony to ensure that no one would open it from the outside. She also asked her father to put grills in her windows to ease her mind.

That is why we can see right through her pretension. We know that she was just trying to look okay but in reality, she is still broken.
