Exiting the club, Sibyl pulled her hair up into a ponytail. Just as she was about to walk down the street, her phone rang. She was momentarily surprised to see Glen's name before she picked up the call.
“Sibyl, do you know where Aries is? Is he with you right now?”
Sibyl frowned, “Aries? I haven't seen him since yesterday.”
Worry was evident in Glen’s voice. “How is this possible? As far as I know, he went to visit you like usual and now I haven’t been able to reach him through the mind-link since yesterday. I’ve looked for him everywhere but can’t find him. He never disappears for so long. Are you sure nothing happened between you two?”
Sibyl felt uneasy about Aries's disappearance, even though she knew she hadn't done anything to cause it. She couldn't shake the feeling of being somehow responsible.
“I'll try to contact him,” she said, hanging up the call and dialing Aries' number, but it was sent straight to voicemail.
“Where could he hav
Under the evening sky, Sibyl walked out of the Eclipse Moon Pack's clearing, feeling confused and uncomfortable with the unexpected turn of events."I should not have come to this rogue territory. Nothing good happens whenever I am here," she muttered, licking the blood from her lips as her wolf began to heal them only slowly.Zara interrupted her, “Honestly this whole day was bad. Remember Daisy?”Sibyl silently recalled Daisy’s comment, “Tonight, I will become the Luna of the Lunar Moon and Edwin’s official mate!”Sibyl looked up at the evening sky and then down at her watch. It was going to be night in a few hours. That’s when she suddenly bumped into something in front of her.“Ah…” Surprised, she looked up to find Keshton standing there, already staring down at her. "You..." she gasped.Keshton raised his hand and gently touched the corner of her lips. "Who did this to you?" H
The weight of his words hung in the air, amplifying the tension. Daisy felt the eyes of everyone in the arena on her, their whispers amplifying her sense of dread.Lester picked up the threat behind Keshton remark, “Shut the fuck up girl. I have invited Alpha Keshton here and you dare to offend him!”Lester couldn’t afford to offend Keshton by excluding the Eclipse Moon Pack from the event, especially when other powerful Alphas had been invited. However, he had not expected the rogue Alpha, who had never attended any gatherings in the past, to suddenly show up at a Lunar Moon's event.Daisy’s eyes snapped to Lester in shock, finally realizing that Sibyl had used Keshton to gain entry into Lunar Moon territory. “Why did you invite him, Father? You knew Sibyl was with him, so why…”“Shut up!” Lester barked at her, then glared at Edwin. “Edwin, when are you going to knock some sense into your wife? She doesn’t know who she’s talking about.”Edwin snap
*Eclipse Moon Pack*The cold wind blew softly onto the cliff outside the Eclipse Moon territory. Stella's nonstop sobs echoed in the surroundings as she stood under a banyan tree at the edge of the cliff, its hanging roots draped around her neck."If you leave me, I will hang myself," she sobbed, threatening Aries with her life. He stood in front of the banyan tree, his hands in his pockets, his emotionless eyes fixed on Stella. “How could you abandon me so mercilessly? Living without you is a punishment worse than death for me. Better that I kill myself.”"It's your life. Do whatever you want with it," Aries stated, casually turning to leave. Committing suicide took guts which was something that Stella never had."Aries!" Stella screamed his name again and again. "I will kill myself! I really will!" She had threatened him using this very trick years ago, only this time none of her threats were going to stop him.Seeing that
Sibyl secretly fiddled with her fingers in her lap, she had felt Keshton's eyes on her ever since she got into his car and they drove out of the Lunar Moon Pack territory. It was the first time she had been in his car, and the silence was nerve-wracking. It wasn't like this was the first time she was alone with him—they had been alone in her apartment and even slept under the same blanket. But after he hugged her in front of so many people and held her hand, her heart no longer beat normally. She had clearly used him to gain entry into Lunar Moon territory and to get a chance to meet the King's council, but his statement that she was the woman he was protecting still made her heart race. After getting into his car, she avoided looking at him, and neither of them spoke, but his continuous stare kept her heart from calming down."You can drop me there," she said, pointing at the bus stop in the distance.Keshton glanced at the deserted bus stop and the creepy dark
Driving smoothly, Keshton glanced over at Sibyl's sleepy face. The refreshing breeze coming from in through the window and the long, tiring day made it difficult for her to keep her eyes open. She had even struggled to keep up with their kissing earlier in the car, so Keshton decided to forgo sex and drive her home instead. They had stopped briefly at his place so she could grab her wallet before heading to her home. However, as they approached the borders of the Eclipse Moon Pack, Keshton suddenly slammed on the brakes. The abrupt stop jolted Sibyl awake. First, she looked at Keshton in confusion and then turned her gaze forward. There, in the distance, near a large banyan tree, stood Glen and Aries. Trace was on his knees; all their eyes were fixed on something in the tree.Sibyl's hand flew to her mouth when she saw Stella hanging dead from the tree. Keshton immediately got out of the car and walked to the tree, followed by Sibyl, still in pure shock. All of
Eclipse Moon PackOnce the image of the blonde woman lying on the bed, half covered by white sheet appeared in Keshton’s mind, he abruptly opened his eyes and sat up on the bed taking deep and heaving breaths. He held his throbbing head, Joseph's face still roaming in his mind even though the dream was over. Now this dream started appearing during the day too.“Joseph is after her because of us,” Rah spoke in Keshton’s mind.During the last few days when Keshton was not around Sibyl, Joseph did not make any moves towards Sibyl. He also had not done anything to her when Joseph’s identity was hidden from Keshton. It proved Keshton’s suspicion that Joseph was not following through on his normal plan of action. Something big and unexpected seemed to be awaiting him in future.Keshton got off the bed to stand by the window where he could see the pack’s hospital where Sibyl used to work, but she was no longer there. She was not willing to be around rogues. He still did not know the reason b
After getting off work at the bar, Sibyl went straight to the place she had been visiting for a week: Kaha’s stall.“Is it closed again?” she sighed in disappointment.“You must like her sweet potatoes a lot, that's why you come to see her every day,” the old man from the shop next to the stall remarked as he came over.Sibyl smiled softly, hiding the sadness deep in her heart. The real reason for her frequent visits to Kaha’s stall was her baby. That six-month-old infant used to bring joy to her heart whenever she caught a glimpse of it. Unlike the she-wolves back at Lunar Moon, Kaha used to let Sibyl carry her baby. But due to bad past experiences and taunts Sibyl always refused and only looked at the little innocent life in Kaha’s arms happily, so she frequently visited Kaha’s stall.
“Be my partner for the ball,” Keshton whispered. As if time had stopped with the softness of his voice, Sibyl froze in his lap, rendered mute by surprise. The look in his eyes was like a spell cast upon her, leaving no room for doubt that she had misheard him.He had truly asked her to a ball. But why her? Who was she? A rejected and abandoned she-wolf, struggling to make ends meet with no pack to protect her and a massive debt to her name. Meanwhile, he was a handsome, powerful, yet dangerous rogue Alpha. Her creditor, who had a strange fascination with her white eyes. Their statuses were as different as the earth and the moon, no matter the angle one viewed them from. She was no longer a Luna, and in her current state, she was not even worthy of meeting his gaze, let alone boldly sitting on his lap.Her life was like a naked canvas in front of his eyes; he knew nearly everything about her, yet this man always did things that made her feel as if she were still a normal person. From h
"Fuck my life!" Joseph gritted his teeth in frustration, glancing around at yet another dark place that he found himself after opening his eyes. His entire body was suspended against a wall, bound by silver chains that tied his hands and legs, leaving him exposed and freezing in the cold. How the hell had he been caught again? The last thing he remembered was nearly being killed by Keshton in that fire. He thought he was dead, but when he opened his eyes, he found himself caged by dangerous wolves in the distant mountains. He had no idea how much time had passed or how long he had been imprisoned, but he knew they were keeping him alive under someone's orders. His eye had been gouged out, his bones broken—thanks to Keshton—and he was no better than a fish dying on dry land. Once he recovered enough to walk, he managed to escape from the mysterious wolves who had been holding him captive. Unfortunately, he fell into the hands of someone else midway through his escape, they had dragged
Peter’s heart was heavy with unease as he followed Keshton to the prison. Keshton violently threw the woman into the dark cell, his anger barely contained.“WHO TOLD YOU TO STAB HER?” Keshton screamed at the young woman, who only cried harder in response. The young woman was just eighteen years old, but she had the mind of an eight-year-old. No matter how much he yelled and demanded answers, she only wept.“YOU’RE NOT GOING TO TELL ME, HUH?!” Keshton’s patience snapped. He partially shifted into his wolf form, grabbing her by the neck, ready to twist it.“Alpha, please don’t kill her!” Peter desperately begged.Keshton glared at Peter, causing him to step back. “This wretch dared to stab my mate with a silver knife, and you dare to plead for her LIFE?”Peter fell to his knees, his voice trembling. “I believe she’s innocent, Alpha. Two days ago, the wolf who brought her to the pack died, but he once told me she has the mind of a child. She does everything she’s told…”Before Peter coul
In the pitch darkness, amidst the charred remains of the rugged and destroyed Moon Rise Pack, a man sat with a bottle of alcohol. Calculated heavy footsteps came from behind stopping some distance away from him.“There is bad news,” the man standing by stammered slightly. The man paused mid drink and looked over his shoulder as if telling him he was all ears. The man revealed, “Alpha Keshton got rid of the slum and underground brothel.”“WHAT?!!” the man barked like a crazy person in shock. The other man took a couple of steps back in fear and nodded quickly, “The slum has been destroyed and they have begun reconstruction. While the brothe
“Sibyl.”A gentle touch on her cheek and the love-filled voice of Keshton pulled Sibyl from her sleep. Naturally, he hated waking her and would always let her sleep, even if she slept the entire day away. But that morning, there was a different expression on his handsome face, complemented by a charming smile.“Keshton,” she smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck. The previous morning, after they returned to the packhouse following that big announcement, Keshton had been busy with some internal pack affairs that needed his attention. He had been absent from the pack for a few days because of her, so he had sent Sibyl to rest. All afternoon, she felt like a zombie, battling a headache as she waited for his return. However by the evening, exhaustion overtook her, and she fell asleep on the sofa while waiting for him. Now it was morning, and she found herself in bed.“Do you feel better?” Keshton asked, gently kissing her on the lips.He knew he had pushed her a little too hard during
They smiled at each other, and Sibyl began eating happily, unaware of the expression on Keshton’s face. After eating, Sibyl got dressed and Keshton checked out of the room. They got in the car and since it was only three in the morning, the road was deserted. Keshton could drive his car speedly.“You should get some sleep. Home is far away. I will wake you up when we are home,” Keshton suggested.“I am not sleepy,” Sibyl smiled, showing the coffee he had bought for her.Keshton shook his head. She was stubborn, wanting to stay awake with him. She chatted with him from time to time about her thoughts concerning the pack members that she had been with all this time. Sibyl’s eyes admired the view outside the window as
Stepping out of the shower, Sibyl wrapped a bathrobe around her body and stood in front of the mirror. Her face that had appeared withered for days had regained its brightness, her eyes were no longer lifeless, and her lips curled into a happy smile as she admired the mark on her neck. She raised her hand and traced her fingers over it repeatedly.“We've become one,” she whispered to herself, butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she momentarily forgot the exhaustion from the intense session she had shared with Keshton. She had never imagined that sex during an Alpha's rut could be so draining. After releasing inside her, he would get hard again and again. Sibyl felt as though she were on an unstoppable ride of pleasure. She couldn't even recall how many times they had done it, but each time, he took her in a different
Peter returned to the pack, distracted and worried. He had lost track of Keshton as soon as the old healer spilled the beans that Sibyl had a friend who had brought her to have her eyes healed after the accident. The healer also revealed the address of this friend in the mountains.Keshton went alone, even though there was no certainty that Sibyl was with this friend. Peter wanted to follow, but Keshton had driven off alone, ordering him to return to the pack. Peter sighed, feeling hungry. It was already well into the night, and he hadn’t had lunch or dinner.“Should I grab some hot pot as a late night meal?” he wondered, passing a clearing, when a phone ringtone caught his attention. He immediately stopped, alarmed. Why was there a distinctly female ringto
She hurried to get Keshton into the passenger seat, struggling a little under his weight but managing to move quickly. Though he was unconscious, the intensity of his rut still clung to him, radiating heat that made her uneasy. She didn’t know how long the effects of the injection would last, or what state Keshton would be in when he woke up. The uncertainty gnawed at her, but she knew she needed to act quickly.Sibyl started the car and drove to the nearest hotel. She didn’t have any money on her, so she used Keshton’s card to book a room. Once inside, she quickly settled him on the bed, watching for any signs of him waking. His breathing was heavy, face more flush, his body still tense even in unconsciousness, and he was sweating very badly.Sibyl’s mind was a tangled mess of emotions as she stoo
Sibyl struggled to support Keshton as they made their way back to the car, his lips trailing desperate kisses along her smooth neck while his hands roamed eagerly beneath her dress. “Keshton, wait. Come to your senses. We’re on the highway!” she urged, her voice trembling with a mix of panic and arousal. The intense heat she had been feeling suddenly made sense—her body had been responding to the bond they shared, warning her of Keshton’s impending rut. As she glanced at the flushed and feverish Alpha, who was burying his face in her neck and inhaling her scent, she realized just how powerful their connection was. He was losing himself to lust, driven by the primal instincts of his wolf.Sibyl bit her lip, trying to steady herself as she held his arm more firmly around her neck. She continued to help him walk, though her mind was a c
