She was talking to one of the maids who excused them when Colt and Mia came in.
Victoria rose to her feet. She approached the duo, turning her attention to Mia first.
"Sweetheart, you look so beautiful," Vicky said with so much adoration in her eyes.
Mia couldn't help with the smile that overtook her face. "Thanks, Mom."
"You're welcome, love and I do believe that I owe you thousands of apologies. This is the second time we are meeting physically and I sincerely apologize for how I reacted the time I came over to your office. I tend to overreact when I'm angry or when things do not go my way. I'm very sorry, Mia and I promise that such will never repeat itself."
