"Did I do something wrong?" Liam asked, following her out of the bathroom. He couldn't understand why she was pushing him away like he was some kind of disgusting animal. This was something he was used to getting easily from any woman.

Elena remained silent as she dried off and changed into dry clothes. She climbed onto the bed, feeling regret for leading him on.

"I could have stopped him long ago, but no, I had to wait this long," she mentally scolded herself.

Elena regretted not having the courage to tell Liam that she didn't want to be just another name on his list of conquests, another one of his bed warmers. That's exactly what his mother had called her, and the thought of it made her feel sick to her stomach.
