Chapter 32

Morning came and I jumped out of bed when I realised Raymond had told me about a hospital appointment the previous night. In a flash I was out of my nightie and standing half naked in the centre of my room. I tied my hair up and made for the bathroom when I heard a gentle tap on my door.

My heart lept as I scurried back to the bed for the nightwear I just took off. Throwing it over my body again I went to get the door.

A big smile that was obviously fake was plastered on Pamela's face when I opened the door.

“Good morning, Ma'am ” She greeted in a mild tone and brushed my side as she walked her way into my room.
