She had become a lot more attractive. She'd put on a little flesh, and there was color on her skin. Her hair blew in the wind, and I itched to run my hands through it.

Dawn had always been a sight for sore eyes. But now she was goddamn breathtaking. And it only took two weeks for this transformation to occur. She'd somehow worked her way into the heart of my pack and was everyone's sweetheart.

The most surprising thing was seeing her work in my mother's lab. Lex told me of it, and I was so pissed that I rushed down to rip her out of it.

Yet, I stopped short at the sight of her smiling and humming in an unfamiliar but beautiful tone. I stood transfixed. I didn't know what she was working on, but this was the most relaxed I'd ever seen her.

She drifted around happily like some sort of fairy. I finally understood why my father insisted that the walls of the Alchemy lab be transparent. He could stand and watch her work for hours while forgetting to do his own work.
