CHAPTER 21

What was she doing? Ashley thought to herself and immediately stopped.

"What's wrong?" Michael asked, confused. Moments ago, they were both in the moment, exploring each other's bodies, and now she suddenly stopped.

"We shouldn't be doing this," she said, putting her nightgown back on to cover herself. "The main purpose of me taking off my clothes at first was so you could see my acne scars, and now that you've seen them..."

"Yeah, I'm sorry that I went overboard."

"I did too. I'm sorry..."

"You don't have to be." He pulled her closer and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight, Ashley."

"Goodnight, Michael. I hope stopping us from doing this won't strain our relationship," she suddenly asked.

"No... Never. Besides, my offer still stands. When we get back home, let's both stay in the same room."

"I will surely do that." She smiled as she agreed, happy that he didn't forget the offer.

"That's good to hear. Can I hold you while I sleep?" he asked.

"Sure, you can."
