A scream broke the silence as a body lay on the ground, a shadow approaching from the side. However, a barrier was soon in place that stopped the approach of the blonde she-wolf. Both of the opponents were back on their feet, and Karen ducked down into the middle of the barrier. Her hand pressed flat against the ground, sending a shockwave of force in a fifteen-foot radius around the shield. The red-haired she-wolf was faster than her partner and managed to dodge the attack.
Another scream ripped through the still air as the blonde woman was struck by the sacred moonstone light that emanated from Karen's body. She fell again and lay motionless, lifeless. Then Karen lowered her barrier as she ran out of energy, trying to conserve her remaining strength. But a sudden attack came from behind. She tried to dodge, but her body was injured as a small moan escaped her lips.
Pain pierced her back. She could barely turn around in time to see the red wolf licking the blood from her claws. The she-wolf smiled cruelly at Karen with her sharp canines before leaping again for her next attack. She grabbed hold of the fallen arrow and rolled backwards as the she-wolf fell on top of her.
The she-wolf collapsed in her death, her body pierced by the glowing arrow. The weight added to the pain in Karen's back. She struggled to push herself up and finally managed to roll over the body of the she-wolf and let go of it. Standing up with difficulty, it felt like an accomplishment when she realized that Maya was nowhere to be seen.
She immediately realized that Maya was gone. In her confusion, she called out her name, but only silence answered. "Maya! Where are you?" A soft voice from behind her made her turn around, ready for a fight, but what she encountered was a calm Maya walking over.
With a relieved smile, the pain began to show on Karen's tiny face as she stopped trying to stand, realizing that she wasn't going to be attacked.
She knelt with one foot in front of Karen, her clawed hands wrapped around Karen's uninjured shoulders. "You're hurt. Let me help you."
When she saw the concerned look in Maya's eyes, she felt like she was being bathed in a gentle, loving light. Maya's hand on her shoulder was a warm support, and she felt relieved that she no longer had to fight the world alone. In that warmth, she felt a new bond growing between them, a bond that would likely be the key to overcoming all the obstacles that lay ahead.
She grimaced and allowed Maya to examine her shoulder again as blood began to flow from the wound, as well as from her recently injured back. After a thorough examination, Maya assured her that the wound on her back was not too serious, but the wound on her shoulder was getting worse and needed serious attention. Carefully, Karen rose to her feet and removed her outer clothing, exposing her arms and back. She felt a little embarrassed to be in this state in the middle of the forest, especially at a time like this, not knowing when the next attack would come.
Maya saw her start to worry and quickly calmed her down. "Don't worry, Karen. I'll take care of this quickly." Firmly, Maya continued, "The most important thing right now is to stop the bleeding. The smell of your blood might attract the enemy."
She sighed, realizing the truth in Maya's words. Her wounds were not deep, but the blood was still flowing. Although she felt that she had not lost too much blood, as a living being, the blood flowing in her body was important. Her body was getting tired. At times like this, Karen felt jealous of the she-wolf's endurance and ability, which she had matured by having trained extensively.
Suddenly, Karen froze as she remembered the fourth aura, the mysterious leader of her attackers. However, the aura of the she-wolf had disappeared. Did she run away when her limbs were paralyzed? she doubted it. Then she remembered that Maya had come from the direction where she had last felt the presence of the mysterious female wolf. The tension slowly left her body as she watched Maya undress and grab her.
"Let me help you get undressed. And don't forget to take off your weapons, Karen," Maya said as she unbuckled Karen's crossbow.
She nodded her head, giving Maya permission to help her release her arrows, and then asked, "Hey, Maya? Have you taken care of the hidden leader of this group? I can't sense her anymore."
Maya paused for a moment as she put down her weapon, then smiled. "You don't have to worry, Karen. She's no longer a threat to you."
Karen began to relax as the adrenaline from the previous fight faded from her bruised body. Quickly, Maya helped her remove her tattered clothes, including her short green skirt, now stained with her own blood. Karen sat with only her bra and white panties stained with blood, her cheeks flushed.
Maya smiled at the obvious embarrassment of her undressing, although her remaining clothes were also slightly exposed.
"What a strange and contradictory girl," she thought.
Of course, anyone who would show that much of her skin would probably come across as a bit of a slut. However, this young girl clearly exudes chastity and acts out of character in the clothes she wears. Her unique looking underwear also makes Maya curious.
The sensation of a tongue touching her skin suddenly startled Karen and she turned to see Maya gently licking the blood from her lips.
"What are you doing?" squealed Karen, her cheeks turning red.
"Karen, we have no water to clean your wound. I can clean it with my saliva if you let me," she replied in a calm voice, her face expressionless, just bright eyes that Karen found hard to understand.
She nodded in understanding and turned her head to a tree not too far away, trying to ignore the awkward situation.
But she felt Maya's hand on her uninjured shoulder, then the warm, soft sensation as Maya's tongue cleaned blood and dirt from her back. The feel of Maya's breath on her skin sent shivers down her spine. The process took only ten minutes, but to Karen it felt like hours. She didn't feel any sexual element in this act, but in today's society she was worried about what people would say if they saw her in this situation. No, she was not aroused by what Maya was doing, but she would be embarrassed if anyone found out.
Maya was finally standing in front of her, almost on her knees so that she could feel her breath on her cheeks. She smelled the blood on Maya's breath, which added to the chaotic feeling in her head.
"This may be painful. Be patient," she whispered as she tried to keep a serious expression on her face, then suddenly grabbed her uninjured shoulder. Her body leaned down and Maya's copper hair touched her cheek. Slowly, Maya's tongue licked the injured shoulder.
Karen was shocked as she continued to lick her shoulder. She was barely aware that Maya's other hand was moving down her bare left thigh as she tried to stifle the pain the action was causing.
Eventually, Maya lifted her head from her shoulder, her tongue now red with blood licking her lips. Karen turned her face away from the sight and looked over her shoulder. The bleeding had slowed and she could see four wounds, each one inch long and a quarter of an inch wide.
Karen grimaced at the sight of the wounds, realizing that she was about to add a new scar to the collection of wounds that had been there since she arrived at Moonlit Grove. She never thought her back would be as scarred as Maya said it was, but it was painful every time she moved.
The sound of tearing drew her attention back to Maya, who was ripping off her damaged clothes to make bandages. In a short time, Maya managed to wrap the pieces of cloth around her body, although there was a moment when she accidentally touched her chest with her fingertips while wrapping the bandages around her body.
"That's enough, Karen," she said after tying the last knot on the bandage.
Maya took her own clothes, but when Karen reached for them and thanked her, she withdrew her hand and brought the clothes to herself.
"I'd rather help you put this on," she explained, moving behind Karen.
Karen nodded sincerely and allowed herself to be helped into the green robe with the tree branch motif, trying to ignore her feelings as Maya's hands remained on her body. Karen tried to tell herself that maybe she was imagining things. Then Maya moved in front of her and removed her outer garment so that Karen could put it on and cover her body. The garment was long, almost to the length of her skirt.
Karen was relieved to finally be fully clothed again.
"We should rest and let your body recover," Maya suggested.
She shook her head and answered as she picked up her bow and checked her arrows. "I need to find Xavier and finish this. Obviously I shouldn't be here."
Maya decided not to try to argue with her. "Well, if that's your decision, let me carry you."
Seeing that she was about to say something, perhaps to argue, Maya immediately raised her hand to stop her. "If you still want to find Alpha Xavier, then I will carry you. Your body is very weak and you need to rest or you might pass out from exhaustion."
Sighing, she finally agreed, but when Maya approached to pick her up, she stepped back. "Wait, I think it's better if I stay behind you, just in case we get attacked." Just saying that made her heart ache as she remembered the hundreds of times she had ridden on Rylan's back.
Maya did not understand her change of mind, but she hesitantly shrugged and offered her back, kneeling slightly to make it easier.
Karen climbed onto her back, trying not to add to the wounds on the she-wolf's body. Unintentionally, she pulled a wound on her own back, but she didn't complain, and soon Maya was running through the forest. Despite their search, neither of them knew where to find the Alpha of Westwood.
In the lush forest, she held back tears as she clung to Maya's shoulder while the she-wolf raced through the trees with her on Maya's back. Every now and then, however, a small hiss escaped Karen's lips. The sound was so low that no creature would be able to hear it, but Maya was a full-grown she-wolf with a high degree of sensitivity, and she was able to detect such small and infrequent sounds. She had just told Karen through their mind-link that she could hear the sounds of a fight not far to their right. However, Maya decided to keep her distance so as not to get involved in another confrontation while Karen rested to recover her tired body. However, all of Maya's good intentions seemed to be in vain when a few minutes later they realized that an aura was following them. She increased her speed and tried to break away from the pursuit, but her movements were too rough, reopening the wounds on Karen's body so that blood filled the air like a signal, leaving a trail
Maya tried to touch her again, not liking the look on the girl's face. However, Karen again rejected Maya's touch by taking a few steps back. When Karen finally realized that she was somehow connected to Nathaniel, her anger exploded. This meant that Maya could not be trusted. Ignoring the fact that Maya had never harmed her before, she dismissed it as part of a plan she didn't know about. "With Nathan, what is your relationship with him?" she asked firmly. "And don't lie. Your scent is exactly like his." Nathaniel Visconti, better known as Nathan, is a rogue werewolf, but he's not only that, he's also a half-blood of a black witch. He is the reason for all the suffering and frustration that her friends are going through. Nathan absorbs the bodies and powers of the werewolves he deems necessary to make himself stronger, hoping to become a true, formidable werewolf. He wanted the Sacred Moonstone for himself to strengthen his cause. At the sight of Maya, she felt horror creep up he
Xavier's voice reached her ears before she saw him emerge from behind the misty trees to her left. She was relieved to see that it was not another she-wolf who was ready to kill her, but she had no idea what his motives were or why he had come to see her. Right now she had no chance to have a long talk with the cold man. She had to escape the dense fog and save her strength, not knowing if she would need it later if she couldn't convince him to let her leave this cruel game. "We have to go," Xavier said as he grabbed her and hugged her around the waist. Then he turned into a big white wolf and let Karen climb on his back. With fluid movements, they glided through the air above the dense trees. The wind rustled in Karen's ears as they moved at an astonishing speed. The girl felt a mixture of emotions raging inside her. On the one hand, she was relieved to have the protection of Xavier and his presence. On the other hand, she was still confused about the true intentions of this journe
Xavier smiled with a slight smirk on his face. "No matter what you say, you are still attractive to me, Karenina. Your uniqueness as a hybrid and your spiritual powers attract me. But I know you won't be easy to conquer. Perhaps that is what attracts me to you."Karen was shocked at his statement. She could not believe what he had just said. Then she finally decided to get off his back, which was still transformed into a big wolf, and Xavier finally returned to his human body. The man then walked closer to Karen until the distance between them was only a few centimeters. It was only when the man's hand wrapped around her little finger that she realized her mistake. Karen stared at him, swallowing, nervous about her next move. Karen was afraid he was going to break her finger, especially when he looked at her and squeezed her finger in warning. Her eyes were caught by Xavier's beautiful golden eyes, though they were also intimidating. But she couldn't see any warmth in them, only cold
—Flashback Underworld—The wind from the portal between the world of the living and the world of the dead was strong and icy, trying to steal the warmth from those whose hearts still pumped the blood of life. Xavier Westwood stood in a clearing far from any civilization or city, keeping a watchful eye in case the call of death was too strong for those who were weak to succumb to the seduction of death and fall into the black abyss forever."Brother Xavier, are you going back to Raine?" pleaded an adorable 10-year-old child."Shut up, Raine, and don't bother Alpha Xavier with such nonsense!" shouted Jacob in a shrill voice. Jacob was Xavier's loyal servant, while she, despite being Xavier's younger sister by another mother, was dearly loved by Xavier.Of course, she ignored her brother's annoying servant, preferring to stare at her brother with all her heart. She loved her brother and wondered if he would return to her. The dark abyss in front of her brother made her feel cold. He had
With a sharp intake of breath, she continued to run as far away from the poisonous gas as possible, trying to put as much distance as possible between herself and any possible pursuit. Maya had no intention of being captured, interrogated, and then killed. She knew she was strong, stronger than ever, but there was no way she could defend herself against someone she really did not want to meet. The poisonous black fog had no negative effect on her other than blocking her vision, making it difficult to see where she was going, but she wasn't too worried. Before she had to leave Karen, she had always known which way to turn if she had to leave the battlefield and escape the clutches of Xavier, Alpha of the Westwood Pack. Trying to stay in the right direction, her thoughts kept drifting back to Karen and her soft lips. She didn't understand why she felt such a strong attraction to the girl who was supposed to be her enemy. Even if she accepted her feelings, she knew that Nathan, Xavier's
It had been a few weeks since she had first met Alicia, and they had made a habit of meeting at the same lake, but they had quickly decided to meet at night so that their relationship would not be smelled. She was becoming sexually frustrated with all the seductive looks and touches Alicia was giving her, not to mention some veiled hints of attraction on her part, but nothing approaching physical contact of any kind.Instead, they used the time to get to know each other and enjoy each other's company. Maya was truly happy for the first time in years, as this was the first time she had felt such strong feelings for another woman, and they seemed to be returning even though there was no actual touching. She felt she could wait as long as it took for Alicia to feel comfortable taking their relationship a step further. So engrossed in her thoughts, Maya did not hear her call out and then come up behind her until she felt a hand slide down her back, making her shiver with excitement at the
—Back to present—Whenever she remembers Alicia's betrayal, the pain is still there, but hidden behind her need for revenge. After teaming up with Nathan, she hunts down the two lovers with the help he promised and sends them to the afterlife, just as they tried to do to her. However, revenge wouldn't taste as sweet if she couldn't inflict the same pain on Alicia as she did to her. She wants to break her heart like her own, so that the woman she once loved can fully understand the evil deeds that broke her heart. As Alicia watches, she kills her lover in front of her disbelieving eyes. Hearing her cries of anguish and seeing the sadness on her face made her feel the same pain that Maya felt as she lay in a pool of her own blood, looking at her as she turned away from Maya. She had killed the person she thought she loved the most. Then the pain overwhelmed her and brought her to her knees, staining them with her own blood. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the memories she did n
Karen For the last year after Nathan's death, she lived with Xavier. She had told him that she needed time to get to know him and for their relationship to grow before making a big commitment, and during the time they had been 'dating', he had been giving her several tutors to assist her in adapting to her new life. So many tutors, she thought with a sigh. At first, she only had tutors who helped her explain and control her powers now that she was a full-blooded she-wolf, while others taught her combat and how to fight hand-to-hand, while still others taught her to use swords and daggers. Although she seemed to be making progress after a year, Karen knew that she was far from proficient. It would take years for her to become a fighter and master her new weapons, even though she always carried a bow and arrow. However, a few months ago, she had surprised Xavier by asking how to behave as Luna in the Westwood Pack. She could see the concern and eager anticipation in his eyes when he r
Karen "You're acting weird, Rylan," she said with a frown as her best friend led her out of the place where she used to play hide-and-seek with Raine. Instead of fighting with her like she thought he would, Rylan glanced at her before looking away. He crossed his arms and started walking back and forth in front of her. This made her upset because she assumed that his weird behavior had something to do with her changed appearance. "Why the hell can't you look at me?" While walking over to him, she grabbed his shoulders and forced him to face her. "Why is it so hard for you to look me in the eye, Rylan?" She demanded, her voice trembling. Why wasn't he looking at her? Could it
Karen Her arms wrapped around his body, lowering him onto her, and when their naked bodies met for the first time, it was like ecstasy. Her hardened nipples poked at his muscular chest, her curves fitting perfectly next to his rock-hard body like she was made just for him. It was a piece of perfection. She stared straight at him, meeting the burning intensity in his golden eyes, making her body shiver. That Xavier craved her so much never failed to surprise and amaze her, but it also made her grateful, because she felt the same way. He had seen her naked before, yet Xavier still seemed mesmerized by what he saw, as if seeing her for the first time. Hence, she did not feel ashamed under his gaze. Far from it. In fact, she felt beautiful. She called out his name again. Her body burned and ached. She needed him to d
Karen He means it... As she thought with teary eyes, she knew it was true. She could see it written all over his face and in his eyes. All this time, she had thought that he had such little feelings, never seeing a hint of emotion on his face since the first day she met him a few years ago. But she was wrong. Xavier did have feelings, and judging by his expression, he felt a lot of things. So much so, that she could practically hear his heartbreak, and somehow, it only mended her own. The veil that shrouded him had been lifted, and what she saw had removed her resentment for him, taken away her bitterness, and left only the love she felt for him swelling in her heart. As she ran towards him, slamming into his chest, Karen increased her strength, causing his body to be pushed back slightly, but he remained upright and didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her. The desperation in his hug confirmed his words, chasing away the darkness in her heart. "I forgive you," she whispered into
Karen One week later after the battle... She was in her room, curled up on her bed, and holding a pillow to her chest. One hand held the pillow while the other stretched out over her bed. Inside her fist was a sacred moonstone. Nathaniel was dead, killed by Xavier, with no help from her at all. She should have felt happy, relieved, hell, she didn't know, at the death of her most bitter enemy. Especially when all her friends were safe. After their moment of heartfelt embrace, Xavier used his remaining strength to carry her back to the pack house. It was the last time she saw him, but she was told that he was recovering and wouldn't die from his injuries. That was two days ago, and she was lost in thought. Her eyes were fixed on her clenched fist that held the gemstone, the sacred moonstone, the heirloom of the werewolf lords. Karen did not need to open her fingers to know that so far she had failed to purify the stone. The gemstone was still black in color, silently indicating that
Karen Xavier stood slightly hunched over, his fine hair flowing around his angelic face, almost hiding his expression from her. Blood dripped down across his chin from his mouth - a mouth that she couldn't help but remember kissing and getting lost in - but what brought tears to her eyes was the dagger that had stabbed him in the back, protruding out of his body for her to see. While his blades were partially sheathed in the ground, a line where the daggers had cut into the ground was beyond them, as if he was trying to use his daggers to stop his forward motion. One dagger was stuck in his right leg, stuck firmly, most likely adding to the pain that he was experiencing. Another dagger dug into his left shoulder, and another pierced his left side. A large amount of blood stained his white shirt. Staring into the face of the man she was growing t
Karen That's for sure. Xavier was right. Then her eyes narrowed on Nathan. Although Xavier had stolen more than she could have imagined, Nathan was still her enemy, and although she did not remember anything that happened after her conversation with Nathan until she woke up in Xavier's arms, she was not stupid. Although her spiritual energy was gone, perhaps gone forever, somehow she could still sense the fragments of the sacred moonstone. There was a large piece that belonged to Nathan, nestled in his chest, in what should have been his heart, but there were two separate fragments inside of her. She could practically sense their dark presence deep in her chest, dark and riddled with corruption. Nathan had played this game many times before, not only controlling Karen in the past but also many other people he controlled using the damaged fragments. She didn't know what she had done while under Nathan's control, but from the scent of Xavier's blood, and Nathan's blood on her nails, it
Xavier ‘If I can't find and remove the fragment, then I will eliminate Nathan's control.’ With grim resolve emanating from his golden-colored eyes, he rushed to confront Karen, responding to her attack when she returned to attack him, or so it seemed at first. Instead, he somersaulted over her head at the last second, landing a few meters behind her, and before she could turn around and attack him again, Xavier snapped her wrist, using the rope that had been thrown from his hand with controlled accuracy. As Karen turned to face him, he moved around her, immobilizing her arms to her sides, and then pulling her arms back as he lunged at her. Catching her near his chest, he easily locked her against him, controlling her attempts to break free. With his arm still around her and the other arm wrapped around her waist, Xavier used his free hand and dug his fingers into the blood clot at the back of her head, forcing her head back at a painful angle, making it impossible for her to move h
Xavier A movement caught his attention at the mouth of the small cave and out of it came a woman wearing a familiar dress, a ruby red stain was also drawn on her face, her dark brown hair matted in places from the drying blood. There were no visible wounds on the woman he was so intimately familiar with. Perhaps seeing his perplexity, Nathan spoke up. "Don't worry, Alpha. The blood is not hers. Though, I'm afraid that you are already too late if you want to see Maya. We had a... Well, a little disagreement, if you know." His sarcasm did not go unnoticed by Xavier. Although he did not know why or how Maya was dead. So much blood had soaked Karen that he wondered if Karen had killed the she-wolf. He hadn't thought about that possibility, not when his eyes caught the physical changes in the woman he cherished so muc
