At this point, the joy lingers in the air. Everyone was smiling, I took time to look at their faces, except for Catherine. She was not smiling, her gaze was all over me. I could faintly see the anger in her mind. She was the only person that looked out of place, and I knew it was because of me. I wouldn’t let her spoil the joy I have already established in my heart since morning. I lifted my hands for another drink and the waiter came immediately. I had this constant feeling of thirst with every glass of wine I took. It seems the more I drink, the more thirsty I become.

“That’s enough, you have had enough.” I knew the voice, I don’t need to be told that he has been watching me. Perhaps he has been counting the number of glasses.

“Alright, just this last time,” I replied while looking at his face. At this point, Lucas became a human Angel. I beat my lower lips as every power in me succumbed to his beautiful, soothing voice. I wanted to jump at him and looked at his beautiful
