I woke up on the floor, a sense of warmth and security enveloping me. As my eyes fluttered open, I realized I was lying naked, wrapped in the strong arms of the Alpha King. Slightly startled, i turned around, holding my breath as I watched him cautiously in case he was awake. Realizing he was still deep in sleep, I couldn't help but smile as I gazed at his sleeping form. He looked so peaceful, his chest rising and falling with every steady breath. The night before had been incredibly intense, a whirlwind of passion, and now, in the quiet moments of morning, I had the chance to admire his vulnerability.

The darkness that had consumed him was a heavy burden, one he had carried for far too long. The torment of his past, the betrayal he bore from Morticia and the pain that had etched itself into his heart, had threatened to devour him, almost stealing him away. But somehow, he had pushed through, emerged on the other side, and allowed me to glimpse the depths of his soul. I couldn
