Chapter 37: To Open

Eleanor’s POV

“He’s inside the room, procuring a healthy snack for better healing and doing some exercises for his body to recover energy. Mr. Dylan is with him and never left his side since he was admitted here again in the mansion.” One of the maids made me aware as I entered the mansion.

“How about you, the other maids, guards, or any staff in the mansion? How have you been all doing?”

“Ms. Eleanor, we can’t refrain or abstain from being sorrowful, especially that few of our fellow died. The incident left us an enormous trauma which caused us to be paranoid, every visitor approaching the mansion. It is a big help, Ms. Eleanor, for doubling the security system here at the mansion because, in that way, we were more carefree.”

“I’m so sorry if you all had to experience this and I am incredibly thankful that almost all of you still stayed despite that frightening incident. If the members of staff here all resigned, then maybe I and dad will be finding ourselves cleaning and cooking,
