Chapter 21: Not A Threat

Eleanor’s POV

Five minutes passed and I still do not know how to react. We are getting near the mansion already but then I still have not replied to what he said even a word.

“Y-You were there at the bar during that evening?” I had nothing to say but to ask him that question, after a few minutes of silence.

“Yes, I watched clearly with my two eyes how the two of you enjoyed the session. Don’t deny that you did not have fun with that because I saw how you loved it.” He said with a dejected face.

“I’m sorry if you had to see that. He was just drunk, and I was the only person available at that time. I could not just leave him there, hanging.” That was the dumbest explanation I have ever told. I know that he would greatly be mad at it, but I still chose to say the truth which is the good part.

“Really? You were available at almost 3 am in the morning? Does your dad even know that you were at the bar, kissing the person that he told you to stay away from?” He continued saying with a grumpy
