The rest of the evening went smoothly. The party was lively and joyful. Luke and I haven’t had time together. He’s busy talking to some executives and I was entertaining some of the wives of those men.
Someone suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around, it was a middle aged man. I haven’t seen him before. He smiled at me and handed me a piece of paper. I frowned and glanced at the small paper. When I looked back, he was gone.
I went to the corner and opened the note. My hands were trembling. I read the note and was stunned.
‘YOU REALLY LOOK LIKE AN ANGEL’
The note was written in blood. Who’s blood? And how did someone slip through our security. I looked around and searched for Luke. I couldn’t find him. Where is he?
